Aerial photo from 1988
A fan from Japan has come across an aerial photo of Midoriyama Studio from February 1988: https://dailyportalz.jp/dpq/midokoro-20210919
While the photo quality isn't great, you can work out most of the games.

Wow, amazing find, that's awesome! Knock Knock is probably the most noticeable for me on the right but it's also incredible to see Yellow Brick Road there. I think that tent like building at the bottom was probably where the indoor games like Dominoes and Dino Ride were played. I'm trying to figure out what that is above that building, and to the right of it?

Above the building is Grid Iron. As for what’s on the right of it, it’s where Roll Out The Barrel and new Dragon Lake were played. Around that area should be High Rollers but I can’t see it

Strange, I can't see High rollers either
Judging by the fact the photo is from early 1988, this is probably the Ep 75-85 era, so you would expect to see it there as it was played pretty much every week at that point.
Oh yeah, I see that's Grid Iron now. Rice Bowl and Wipe Out are quite noticeable too on the left. I think that thing right and up from YBR is Run Way.

Very neat indeed! Thanks for sharing Jonnie and arigato to our original fan who sent it
It's always weird to me how long they had Yellow Brick Road set up to only be played once - wonder if they considered playing it again at one point.

Uploaded on Twitter over a year ago but I only just found it, here's a colour photo from 1989 https://twitter.com/yaginome/status/1349069998229049344
I can see the castle, Final Fall, Poles Apart, Skipping Stones, Bridge Ball, Wipeout, and Honeycomb Maze. Speak up if you spot anything I've missed!
