Yeah. (Highlight this to see AdNW 3 spoilers). white I again cleared everything, but AGAIN failed the Rope Climb, this time even closer. Hopefully next time I can actually do it. Yeah, I need to get faster at pullups, and then I'm set! Unless I fail another Cliffhanger Lache like in episode 2 emoticon emoticon

Re: Training

That's a comprehensive list! Wish I'd kept that when I started as it's a good way to track progress and motivate yourself.

I guess I still could start one with the records I know and see where I'm at with the ones I can't remember!

It will also help remind me what to do each day when I'm not doing fancy video stuff. I plan on getting this for Mark John and Jack to use in our competitor profiles

 emoticon

I used to try to beat my pull-up record every day and was really into that goal, but now it's been awhile. I guess as it got higher I got less motivated to try to beat it emoticon

That's why I beat my Situps and Pullups but not pushup Burpees and jumping jacks

Check the record board for Tyler. I'll put a shock face next to every one he has that is crazy for his age, but those would be crazy for me

Re: Training

So these records are all done in one set without rest, I assume?

If so, 220 pushups seems like a lot. It's not impossible, but I remember I used to try to do 300 pushups, but was later told that they weren't really proper form. I'm not just trying to say "It's not true" or reign on the parade as no matter what you both are doing MUCH more than most people your age (or any age). It's just that being told that my 300 pushups weren't really proper was one of the best things to happen to me workout-wise. Now I cut it back to sets of 20 and really focus on form and I have felt much stronger because of it and the muscles have had a better chance to develop.

Of course, it's not impossible to do 220 pushups. If he really can that's beyond incredible for his age, but if not it's still really good. I could be completely off with this but wanted to mention especially as the wrong form on push-ups can actually hurt you later on.

Yeah, it is one set, no rest. I think he had good form at the beginning, and then got bad form at around 170 or something. I better get stronger before he starts passing me! And also, it's funny because from watching Adventoroul Ninja Warrior you would guess that he's strong for someone halfway between big kid and little kid, but no way you would expect him to do more pushups and stops than me. Also probably wouldn't guess that from AdNW, but Jack is actually stronger or at least almost as strong as me, especially in arm wrestling, even though AdNW makes me look way stronger for some reason.
