Ranking Every Season

I don't really know how I should introduce this so I'll just get right into it! emoticon I'll be ranking from worst to best.

Season 5 - I really enjoyed this season's winter block. However, summer was absolutely dreadful. It's just so hard to have a strong opinion about any of it. It's just bland.

Season 1 - This season was a great first attempt. However, too many of the obstacles just weren't that interesting. The commentary was also too low energy for my tastes.

Season 7 - A lot of the obstacles in this season were actually pretty good. The main issues we saw here were them reusing the starters sometimes up to 4 times, the worst sweeper in the show's history, and that god awful zone rule. Other than that, it's not terrible.

Season 3 - This was when they really started to figure out what the show was. Excluding Circle Challenge, I loved every middle round. Both of the qualifiers were great as well. Both zones were also good.

Season 2 - In just the past few weeks, this season has gone from being my least favorite to 3rd favorite. I've just realized that the things that bothered me when I first watched it weren't actually big issues. Excluding the Crazy Sweeper, the 2a zone is actually pretty great. I thought the rolling log was pretty boring at first. However, the blue balls make this obstacle outstanding. The one thing about this season that I didn't really like was the rocket. It's just not very fun to watch and it's not made any better by the fact that it left us with just 4 episodes with the Slippery Course.

Season 4 - This season was pretty great. However, it had waaaaaay too many episodes. And even with it's 31 episodes, around 1/3 of them used the same round 3. Another thing that really dragged this season down was spring. Spring didn't need to exist. I feel like they should have just taken 3 or 4 of the spring episodes and added them onto summer making the spring course the summer a course. Other than that, this season had some fun qualifiers, outstanding round 2s, mostly good round 3s, and that outstanding summer zone.

Season 6 - Hear me out. To start, this season had some outstanding qualifier obstacles. Both courses killed it with the starts. However, I feel like the a course suffered with the recurring obstacles. The b course had some pretty good recurring obstacles. The round 2s are where this season struggled. However, I don't think that either of them are actually that bad. Wipeout's Greatest Hits, Sugar Smacks and Wipeout City all brought at least 1 unique element. Even though Sugar Smacks wasn't exactly the greatest round ever, it still had its episodes where it really excelled. Lastly, we have the zones. Both of these zones were absolutely outstanding. Everything from the launches to the obstacles to the lighting was done so well.

So there you have it, these are how I rank all of the seasons. How would you guys rank them?

Good idea!

For me it's: Season 2 > Season 3 > Season 1 > Season 6 > Season 4 > Season 5 > Season 7

And on the subject of low energy commentary, I have a whole YouTube video on it ( emoticon ):

Wow thats a lot of information. I find it hilarious. I can not read it! I do not have time to read it! I find it lousy to exclaim. Well anyway I find the response pleasant huh. I find it nice. I think my favorite season is the one with the gorilla that swings to the contestant. I find it tropical. It makes me think of those restaurants where you eat in like a jungle setting and a gorilla and animal noises feature. I find it insane however enjoyable. My least favorite season isbthe one with the muddy smackwalls. I find them gross.

They're the same season! emoticon

3,2,4,1,5,6,7

Actually quite difficult to place season 1 as it is so much more basic than the rest, but far more entertaining than the later seasons. Probably interchangeable with 4.

Re: Ranking Every Season

I guess I'll share my opinion.

Loathe Season 1: The Qualifier and The Zone used the same layout. The Qualifier goes like First Obstacle, Sucker Punch, Big Balls, Swinging Obstacle. The Zone Layout needs no explaining.

Hate Season 2: The Zone tried to be different but failed. The only thing preventing me from loathing it is the first female winner was in the first episode. Other than that, it's pretty boring.

Dislike Season 5: It had only 3 combinations of rounds, 1 winter, and 2 summer. I just have to wonder how lazy they were. It had a Christmas special which was more interesting than the first female winner.

Neutral about Season 7: I liked the layout of obstacles and Space Race. However, The Zone was the same, and THE RETIRED BABY MODEL WON TWICE! HE CAN GO ^@!#!! HIMSELF!

Like Season 4: It introduced the seasoned wipeout which was pretty interesting. I'm sad that it was only used twice. I would love to see return in the new season.

Love Season 3: It had some of my favorite obstacles like The Dirty Diving Boards and Shape Shifter. It also had some of my favorite rounds like Bruiseball and Overdrive. The Gauntlet was in both blocks and with amazing obstacles.

Adore Season 6: First off, Jill Wagner is back and I'm elated about that. Second, the obstacles are so creative and the backgrounds accompanying them are so funny. Thirdly, the fails are spectacular.

How anyone can hate season 2 is beyond me.

Me neither. It's my favorite, I think.
