I forgot that the Power Tower was being rebuilt there I mean, it's not bad, but it takes way too much of the episode. And are Australian episodes even two hours long? I can't remember honestly.
Rest of the show looks pretty samey to before, probably will still have a lot of repetition
It's 1 hour 20 mins without adverts but don't know what that would be in Australia with them.
They've always had a repetition problem using the same obstacles for multiple episodes so doubt that'll change this year - and whilst there has been quite extreme change between the first three seasons of the show, this year's looks very season 3 in terms of obstacle choice.

Re: Ninja News
Okay, so same amount of content as the American version then. Still think it's less interesting than just watching an extra run on the main course though.
Yeah, it all looked like the obstacles I saw last time

Re: Ninja News
Well, the course footage in all of these trailers looks the same to me. Seems like another version that puts too much emphasis on back-stories.

Re:
They seem to have got more repetitive with every passing series. I've just watched the first series on Now TV (the only one available) and whilst it is a good show it is a bit of a drag at times - I think even though the course isn't as impressive Ninja Warrior UK is edited better.

I wouldn't judge Australian Ninja Warrior on its first season - the course and competitor field wasn't as developed (and there were some very odd obstacle choices) and, as it was its very first season, of course there were some presentation issues. I disagree that NWUK was edited better, they edit it more like Total Wipeout (certainly the first three seasons, but 4 & 5 too to an extent) and full course runs are barely shown - Australian Ninja Warrior I think has the tone right and runs are mostly shown in full apart from a few that get the fast-forward treatment (but not too many). Admittedly there are some sob stories but they are not overlong and overused like on the show's American counterpart. Overall it's easily one of the best ANW spin-offs which has improved every season so far - I'm hopeful this trend will continue as clearly we won't get as much ninja action this year worldwide.

Re: Ninja News
Don't think I've mentioned it on here but NW Germany also filmed a Kids season along with the regular one in May. NW Germany Kids is now becoming available one episode a week on TV Now and also airing every Sunday on RTL, starting from the Sunday just gone. It's like the regular season in that it is individual competitors attempting a course, with the furthest fastest advancing to the next round. There are - I believe - 4 heats, 2 semis and a final with a Mini-Midoriyama.
