I actually don't think it counted. The whistle sound-effect was added when he hit the finish, which usually indicates a loss. The same thing happened in TCThailand ep 74, though that guy made it a bit more clear that he was being silly (especially as he was dressed as a clown, but I digress ).nondisclosed_email@example.com (Messup434)Sat, 14 Dec 2019 19:18:01 +0000 Re: Episode 12 (11th December)https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357296,from=rss#post357296https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357296,from=rss#post357296My thoughts on this ep: A return for the Slippery Wall was interesting, especially with the oil variation and the funny bit was the man with curly hair who tried to climb up the first time but fell and knocked over the ladder! 😂 The Show of Hands is now getting really boring and isn't one of my favourite games as I said before, but I am definitely expecting Skittles next week as it appeared in the trailer at the end. I like Skipping Stones but I am not keen on cheaters winning the game, who are people that fully get their legs in the water but then recover, which counts as proper cheating. Turtle Hurtle is also a bit boring as it isn't one of my favourite games too, only because of it being unpopular in 🇯🇵. Although was nice to see Avalanche again, I was surprised that nobody won or made it halfway up as the guards were being gruesome with the big boulders than ever. In Wet Paint, I couldn't really tell who managed to win the game as I saw about almost three contestants managing to paint their character on top, but then gets instantaneously sprayed. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I was delighted to see Tug of War back though, but I agree with what you said about the same opponents and results, and I definitely hope it changes if played next time. It's a good thing that Bridge Ball (Small) is now building up popularity in Arabic but should appear next time without the Wet Paint + Dominoes combo like last time, also the lucky bit was the person who dropped his ball but bounced back up to his hands as if it was a boomerang! I was shocked to see almost 85% of the field eliminated in Final Fall as the two guards were hiding right at the front this week, and explains why there were only four survivors through to the Show Down. This episode isn't better than the last one but is still good nonetheless, and I certainly hope that the next episode doesn't officially end the game show in Arabic, permanently! nondisclosed_email@example.com (F2 Ghost)Sat, 14 Dec 2019 15:08:24 +0000 Re: Episode 12 (11th December)https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357289,from=rss#post357289https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357289,from=rss#post357289Do you all think there's much room for expansion next season? I'm sure we'll get some new stuff (and the set is pretty big), but I think space may be running a bit low? Also, are we sure next week is the finale? Even though Penguinii87 told us it was ending after 13 weeks, it seems as if his source was those same articles from a couple of years ago. And I wouldn't really be surprised if the number has changed since, as a few other things have done. It just seems a bit weird to end with some older stuff, like Skittles (though kind of reminiscent of TCIndonsia's season 1 finale where they finally aired the "pilot episode and it looked so strange). Trust me, Skittles all day over Show of Hands BUT you'd think they'd end it off with a new episode (Great Wall, Show of Hands, Turtle Hurtle, etc.). Plus (not that I really expect it on this version), there's NOTHING special about the upcoming ep. I guess it's hard to do specials when the only people allowed to compete are young men I guess there could be a storyline going on for it though. But a watched pot never boils, so I'll stop talking about it so we can see sooner nondisclosed_email@example.com (Messup434)Sat, 14 Dec 2019 13:56:29 +0000 Re: Episode 12 (11th December)https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357281,from=rss#post357281https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357281,from=rss#post357281Quote:General Jonnie wrote: I really liked Slippery Wall this week. The oil being squirted on at the beginning didn't add anything but that guy who landed on the ladder Highlight for me was the guy in Bridge Ball who lost the ball but it bounced back into his hands! A decent variety considering no new games, but seeing as we're coming to the end of the first series it is to be expected. One more left (for now...) next week I agree with this one pretty much. There were entertaining moments this time, but we are running out of milage. So I also agree with Messup434 that the end of this season being nigh is a plus. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Overdriver)Thu, 12 Dec 2019 17:53:17 +0000 Re: Episode 12 (11th December)https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357278,from=rss#post357278https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357278,from=rss#post357278I really liked Slippery Wall this week. It was good to see Slippery Wall again. And they actually added oil to make it harder (before bringing out the ladder)! If this is what they have for now to mix the starting games up, I appreciate their effort to at least change something! Show of Hands being there was a disappointment. I thought for sure it would be a hill game since those always came with Slippery Wall when it appeared. I am glad they broke that pattern - just a shame it was with the game I don't like! Skipping Stones gaining a place near the beginning of most episodes. I like. Some good falls this week, although I notice that there aren't many of those hard hits from the original show. But, like their Bridge Ball, it still works pretty well. Except for this week's blatant cheater Turtle Hurtle is still fun, though will eventually become tiresome. Might be interesting to make a more extreme curve since they already have the gradual curve near the start. Avalanche came back! It was kind of a weird episode of Avalanche though - it was really short and everyone basically just ran down the slope away from the boulders! Still not awful though. Tug of War was I knew they might not change most of the guards, but I thought they'd at least swap-out the eagle guy. With these four opponents, we can expect the same exact results every time it appears. I don't know if there's a law against using animals (or maybe it's just inconvenient to do in the desert, after all!), but they could definitely mix it up more. At least have a team of three Sumo guards or something. It's especially poor when the team of five guards just yanks everyone right away. Thrilling television! Wet Paint must be acknowledging TCThailand with their invisible ink today Glad they've kept this version of it, rather than the one where you're sprayed instantaneously! So Bridge Ball wasn't actually last, but it was still fun to see. And a round of applause to the guy who grabbed his ball when it bounced up after he dropped it! Dominoes had some good moments - one guy surviving the huge gap and someone cutting it very close! Wound through Final Fall. It's a shame that their ending games are so boring. Final Fall is long and doesn't use fun stuff like Thailand (briefly) did. Show Down is fine, but poorly-filmed and you can never really tell what's going on. All in all, not a bad episode today, though I will admit is getting a tiny bit stale. Perhaps having a break after never week will help to resolve this! Some larger players today which was cool to see - especially the man who made it across Skipping Stones nondisclosed_email@example.com (Messup434)Wed, 11 Dec 2019 22:46:48 +0000 Episode 12 (11th December)https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357266,from=rss#post357266https://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/p357266,from=rss#post357266Nothing new once again, but looks like tomorrow will have a more unique set of games than last week.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Messup434)Tue, 10 Dec 2019 15:47:02 +0000
