I kind of think the drum hopper won't come back next time. It is way too easy. Otherwise I definitely don't see any other stage three obstacles that have potential for removal.

Drum Hopper was far from easy though - the people who made it there were good so made it look easy, it wasn't.

I always thought maybe a set of drums at the end that move up and down about six inches together would be cool. Then it comes down to timing, while not making the obstacle insanely complicated.
Also thought of a pretty low-hanging bar after the last drum, forcing contestants to hop up and quickly move their hands upward to catch the bar. Might be way too hard/technical as a first obstacle, but I would like to see both.

Wait, Takeshi, is this modification happening? I saw you posted about it on SMF as well and they said it wasn't anything different 
Hope so, we need some small changes this time around.

Yes, the second ledge now is the one that moves up and down and the third ledges moves front and back. Unfortunately the function was turned off because of the weather made the motors dangerous to use. 
It weiled some very interesting results.

But hey the weather issue will make this new Cliffhanger twist new next tournament, which will technically be three different Cliffhanger variations in three tournaments 
Was the Rolling Log in Stage Two, as we expected?

Yes but no...
It was there but it got stuck halfway down the track due to the weather so they started Stage 2 at the salmon ladder. Seems like the kind of thing trolls would say rather than what actually happened - certainly an unusual tournament but very enjoyable nonetheless. Hope to get a full review up sometime in the next week.
