Yes, and probably more likely 7 who seem to have a schedule full of other channels rejects at the moment.
I wouldn't completely rule out Channel 9 returning to it too - I don't think it's officially axed, just not in the schedules for next year. They may look at whether it can be retooled - though I fear they may look in the wrong places (i.e. NWUK).

I didn't even think about that but it could very well be the case, and a year or two's hiatus may do the show favours. Although that being said, messages the production team have been sending to competitors do seem to suggest they are looking at other networks. Whether anything will come of that I don't know.
An issue with some of the bigger shows like this, Germany, USA is that the competitor base really develops to the point that the more entertaining fast-paced courses become too easy - so they'd have to work out a way around that without resorting to an upper-body borefest. I suppose the advantage here is that although the top 15 or so are really good, the field is quite narrow so the rest aren't so much. I do think this show still has potential, provided it gets the balance right.

Re: Australian Ninja Warrior
It really is something where keeping it simple would be the most beneficial thing to do long term. So keep it to open qualifiers and then the basic structure of qualifiers, heats and a 4 stage grand final (perhaps with one of those stages as a semi final).
In terms of obstacles and keeping them fresh don't Sasuke basically have a rule that once a certain percentage of contestants begin completing an obstacle it's replaced?

I wish! The course doesn't really change at all now. Occasionally you'll get a new, or more likely modified, obstacle but the course has been essentially identical for years now. Even after the most recent Total Victory, all they did was add a second Warped Wall behind the first and one janky version of an ANW obstacle on Stage 3. The rest was the same. Sadly Sasuke isn't very interesting anymore precisely because they don't change!
