Re: Australian Ninja Warrior That's a good point actually. That's one thing NWUK did right lol - all 3 last men standing were shown every time they were actually invited back.
Re: Australian Ninja Warrior Just checked sasukepedia and only 6 people finished the course, with the cut-off being the 3rd obstacle, bridge of blades. Shows how brutal the UFO was this year.
Also, does all the showboating somehow make the run feel less impressive, or is it just me?
She always does that backwards thing like Jake Murray did up the wall.
Like I predicted the first semi was good and the others look decent too: I saw spinball wizard, I-beam cross, battering ram and floating stairs. I got to say, AuNW are doing pretty well with obstacles - much more modern and interesting than last year and the finals look like they'll be even better (and stage 2 looks very interesting, they've gone for obstacles you wouldn't normally see in stage 2). And I could be wrong but it looks like they are doing a full stage 3 this year as opposed to the 3 obstacles at the end because there are 8 stage 2 obstacles and 6 stage 3 ones.
*Also, you know that pink thing under my username that says change your title or something like that, how do I do it?
Re: Australian Ninja Warrior Yeah, I dunno shticks like that (especially repetitive ones) just get to me. I know people love that stuff tho.
Sounds interesting and glad that they'll (probably) have a more proper Third Stage this year!

Step 1: Go here: http://bkeshiheads.runboard.com/t1989 Step 2: Hit "Sumbit a reply"
Step 3: Request a title (something 50 characters or less) that you'd like to show up under your username for every post (it can be changed tho )
Step 4: Wait for Dan to come on

TRALAA!
Thanks, I'll have to have a think first. And also, what do you think of this: First, Brodie Pawson gets DQ'd for taking a shortcut on the salmon ladder, but then even worse, Andrea Ha reaches Floating Monkey Bars and Ben Toyer falls at the Salmon Ladder and Ben goes through coz AuNW counts them as the same obstacles and he got there faster so Andrea Ha is denied her perfectly legitimate claim to a finals spot coz of AuNW's s*** rules.
Re: Australian Ninja Warrior Counting them as the same obstacle is stupid. It's like calling the Double Salmon Ladder and Unstable Bridge or the Hang Climb and Spider Flip on ANW the same obstacle. Stupid
Re: Australian Ninja Warrior Final stage 1 clear rate: 75%, I mean really. The course was way easier than the semis but stage 2 looks overkill - 14 OBSTACLES!
Pole grasper
Bar hop
Spider jump
Wingnuts
Rail runner
Salmon ladder
Unstable bridge
Wall lift
Curved body prop
Ascending climb (hang climb in US)
Crazy cliff-hanger
Iron maiden
Floating boards
Flying bar
