It looks like Challenge will vanish (maybe just on Freeview at least) if there is no space for Sky new Freeview slot for Sky Arts. https://rxtvlog.com/2020/03/sky-arts-freeview-launch-planned.html

I think it would be disastrous if that's the case. Sky News doesn't really need to be on Freeview, in my opinion.

With Challenge TV going down the pan, I shall suggest the idea to DuffDan, ScottGamer17 and Messup434. You should set up a British game show channel that would show a good mixture of classic game shows and new and exclusive shows. It could be on Sky paywall.

Since Challenge lost the wall posts and changed their team, there has been a debate on what Sky could do with the channel. The current schedules with lighter on classic shows get ratings but Sky haven't invested in the channel much.
Sky is expecting to put Sky Arts on Freeview soon, probably replacing Challenge but with the correct lock down expect something jaw dropping for the channel to hold off until later this year.
Does ScottGamer17 and others feel about my observations?

Here's a look back at Challenge TV's website in 2003-2005 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKDYPKS_TSM A time when Takeshi was brand new, there was a new and exclusive series of Fort Boyard, and there was so much variety in the schedules. I miss these days.

It looks like Challenge is being wound down, its +1 channel is closing on Virgin on 1st June (https://cableforum.uk/board/showpost.php?p=36036609&postcount=643). Not sure if it will continue on Sky.
Challenge is also moving on Sky EPG again to channel 160 this week.
Does ScottGamer17 and others feel about the news? Is sale or closure on the cards?
