That looks great, DuffDan! 
So far, I've done 70 of the 104-or-thereabout UK games in Japanese style graphics - the most recent being "Line Up", but I'll upload them as soon as I've done them all.

I'm working on them even as I speak.

(Object of the game is simple. Don't fall into any of the pockets once you get struck by the giant cue ball.)

They'd be too lazy to put the balls out of the holes like in Indestruct-a-ball, when they put those things on the skull boxes.

True, but it adds to the comedy element. 
In any case, the "table" (Skittles hill) would only be raised slightly and there would be a large safety matress or two underneath the pockets.
As for the game graphics, it's taken me at least 3-4 days to do.
