Everyone's got some good ideas. Why don't they just hire us? emoticon

Okay, going on 'holidays', and how much they love Halloween in America, here's my Halloween episode (get ready for some top notch diagrams):

Wipeout Halloween Special

Qualifier
1) Coffin Dodgers - Lots of 'coffins' lined up in a row over the mud which contestants have to run over. But, the lids of the coffins will randomly pop-up, so if a contestant is on one as the lid springs up they'll be flung/slid off (hopefully bouncing off others as they go!):
Image
2) Sucker Punch - Replace the boxing gloves with green rubber hands bent into fists.
3) Big Balls - Decorated as pumpkins.
4) Hurtles - Covered in curved foam to look like gravestones popping up and down from the ground.
5) Dead End Bridge - A line of giant skeleton arms hung in the air with the hands bent up 90 degrees so they're flat. Contestants have to run across the hands to reach the finish platform, but they're only connected at one point so they'll swings backwards and forwards really easily:
Image
Bascially running across a row of swings. If they fall off they have to swim to the second finishing point on the ground.

King of the Mountain: Trick or Treat - Same as usual, but there are loads of giant sweets stuck to the two Sweeper arms. The contestants have to pull them off (once on the bridge), at the same time avoiding being knocked off by the arms, and open them up. If they find a red sweet they can climb up the mountain, but if not they have to keep opening (or probably fall off and have to re-try!) until they do find a red one.

Dizzy Dummy
1) Spinner - On top of the Spinner this time is a giant spiders web (made of elasticised ropes) that the contestants have to climb through before moving on.
2a) - Bat Wing Walk - Giant bats make a path over the water. The edge of the wings are made of solid frames, but all the middle is black material (slightly loose so it's not easy to stand on) covered in slippery grease. Contestants have to jump from wing to wing to get across - they can't stand on the bodies/heads at all as they're completely rounded and even more slippery so it'd be impossible.
Something like this:
Image
Though they'd be a bit more spaced out so you'd need to actually jump between them.
2b) - Eyeball Soup - Lots of giant eyeballs floating in the water, contestants just leap from one to another to get across.

Wipeout Zone
A bit darker than usual, lots of sparks flying and explosions to make it 'scary'.
1) Catapult - Just the same as usual, add electrical effects round it so it looks like some sort of Frankenstein machine.
2) Gears of Doom - Again the same as usual, just with a bit of themeing as they can be Frankenstein machine-like. No skip after one try option though!
3) Sliming Wall - Geddit? Just the Climbing Wall but with slime oozing down to make it slippery, instead of water.
4) Grim Sweeper - Geddit again!? Just the Crazy Sweeper but the arms are two giant scythes. Not real ones, obvz.
5) Witches Hat Turntables - The turntables have a massive witches hat on each. The pointy bit of the hat takes up most of the tables so there's only a tiny bit to land on (grab the point of the hat to cling on). The rim of the hat is a lot wider than the turntable so it's a bit of a trick. See picture:
Image
The section on the right of the picture: The red circle is the turntable, but you can see the hat rim goes over it. The middle circle is the point of the hat, so there's only the gap between the red and black circle to stand on.

Here's the qualifier:

So that's:
1. Plank in the Face.
2. Buoy Run.
3. Big Balls.
4. Log Roll.
5. Hurtles.
6. Slippery Swing Set.

I might do the rest of the rounds at a later date.

This thread is turning out to be more entertaining than an entire series of Washout.
