Hmm, not sure. They're pretty much the same thing.
I like the way :viking is themed and decorated to look like a broken Viking ship, and the family and celebrity specials were fun. Though I'm not too interested in the regular version. But that's only because the only single player version I've seen has the American voice-overs. They talk in it like it's some sport and really serious. That ruins it - it's only a game show 
I'll have to wait 'til tomorrow as I've never seen a full episode of :ninja

i think i like them both the same.
vikings cool because it has men and women competing.
ninja warrior does have that but they mainly seperate it into 2 comps now.
they both have really cool obstacles and stuff.
they're both awesome

The main reason why I don't like Viking is because it's themed on a ship, and i'm sick of ships. Also, Viking isn't colourful, and I like colours.
