Re: Prime Video debut in Japan (Original series)
That's overall a good selection of episodes. These subtitled would be crazy too.

Japanese subtitles are available for most of the episodes, but no English ones sadly.

You can get apps to translate the subtitles, but whether it'd be good enough I dunno.

Re: Prime Video debut in Japan (Original series)
It could be worth a try! Probably the biggest thing "left" to do with the original series for me is getting more subtitled episodes. I know most of the forum is mainly interested in the remaining BGMs and full episodes, but I feel like knowing what is being said is the main thing we're missing out on.

Couldn't agree more. I've been watching through the episodes and while I can understand the odd bits of dialogue I feel we miss out so much on the Manzai routines in between the challenges. Takeshi is a hilarious man so would be amazing to fully understand all of the dialogue.

Re: Prime Video debut in Japan (Original series)
Fosho!
I forgot to discuss this earlier, but the episode choice being all later episodes is interesting. I guess that goes with our assumption that the revival is trying to be most similar to the later episodes. That being said, the three completely new games seems kind of appropriate as the later episodes introduced lots of new games with motors. And most of the returning games were common near the end of the show (HCM, Ball Cupping, Wipe Out) or are at least big enough to deserve to be a part of the return (Mushroom Trip, Slippery Wall). So this is kind of like picking up where we left off, which is cool.

TBS Free & TVer has now released the 10 episodes for a limited time only. However they are all the same episodes already on Prime Video and Paravi.
These are episodes 81, 95, 98, 102, 103, 104, 105, 113, 114 and 125.
