Wipeout Lakeside

https://www.wipeoutlakeside.com/

Don't know how long this has been around or if it is already well known, but when I came across the recently uploaded YouTube video promoting it, it had less than 20 views.

It seems to be another Wipeout themed park similar to the one from the Netherlands, though I believe this one is located in the UK. I have not looked much into it, but from a quick look at the FAQ:

- They are open from 12 pm to 8 pm
- Prices are per person, not per group
- Minimum age is 16 years old
- There is no water involved
- You'll have to sign a waiver

I would consider trying this out, since I would be allowed to, though I do not live in the UK and would have to travel quite a bit. Also would probably like to get at least a little more healthy before trying it.

They currently have six obstacles from the looks of it:
"Ring A Ding" (much like the rings obstacle from Total Wipeout/Washout)
"Trampo Sweeper" (a small sweeper setup, uses trampolines and so it is kinda like the Super Tramp)
"Sideways Sweeper" (Fling Set, the second bar seems to be something not seen before, it has spikes on the bar! emoticon )
"Dizzy Dummy", "Sucker Punch Wall", and "Big Red Balls" are pretty similar to what we know them as.

It'll be interesting to see if they'll add and/or change obstacles over time. What are your thoughts on this?

If it's called *lakeside* and has no water involved, is it even wipeout?

Bonus points for not calling it Total Wipeout Lakeside.

Seems genuine though - there have been a few previous attempts which either didn't get anywhere or were just pure fakes. Looks like it was formerly a fairly generic assault course type place who have now presumably licenced the brand - a brand which was axed ten years ago in the UK but still carries weight.

There’s something about these Wipeout lake family fun day courses that always seems so fake to me. The websites always come across as scammy (and often have tons of wrong info/poor writing) and nothing ever seems to come of any of it. This is not great itself, but one of the better efforts I’ve seen, interesting to see the obstacles they’ve gone with.

Using the Wipeout theme song for the video was also a success.
