Gold Of Gelendzhik (Russian Remake)
TNT in Russia have made their own version of Takeshi's Castle. The first episode can officially be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jRkxSWT-eI
85 contestants have to overcome all the challenges to win the gold at the end.
Here's an article with more info https://www.the-village.ru/weekend/how-city/kak-ustroeno-shou-zoloto-gelendzhika
I'll let you know my thoughts once I've watched it.

It looks interesting. I am surprised they are able to film with the pandemic going on right now. Pretty funny to see they modeled the Honeycomb Maze after an actual beehive.

Re: Gold Of Gelendzhik (Russian Remake)
It must of been filmed before all the madness happened...no social distancing or face masks were seen!
It wasn't bad. It's not a faithful remake of the original show like Saudi Arabia, but good on them for trying something different.
The editing reminds me of Wipeout: compilations of fails amongst full attempts, and a lot of screen time with the reporter.
The Honeycomb Maze guards were weak, they didn't bother to attempt catching the contestants, they just chased them.
Having Slippery Stairs as a finale was random, but it does the job.
Next week we have Bridge Ball and Home Run. Their Home Run is an exact remake of SA's one!
One the whole it's fine, but nothing to get too excited about.

Perhaps it is first episode ironing out kinks? I'm kinda looking forward to the next episode.

Re: Gold Of Gelendzhik (Russian Remake)
Wow! Not the best remake I've seen, but this is still a pleasant supri.
Sorry for my delay of comment; school has been really ramping up this week.
I'd say the two main problems for this show are simply the different vibe and the clunkier obstacles (especially in Wipe Out and Skipping Stones).
Let's review individually.
Knock Knock II to start is something different. And not a "Wall" game! It'd be awesome if they had at least one other game to begin with (even if it's Slippery Wall AGAIN!), but this will be novel enough for awhile.
Wipe Out could be good, but as already stated, the structure seemed cumbersome, as well as the board seeming too slow to produce fun wipeouts. Also, don't agree with being allowed to go under the sharks, especially considering how easy they are to duck. And the green support attached to the surfboard should be off-limits too.
Honeycomb Maze actually looks good, and I like the design choices. I just wish the guards would be more aggressive to go with that!
I like WHERE they built Skipping Stones as it resembles the original show more than most, but the game itself seems too easy. Seems at least half of the people made it (and very quickly too!). They should just add a bunch more sinking stones and that should be fixed though.
It's strange how they always bring back Mushroom Trip (or some kind of "Trip" ) in essentially every remake, but can never get it to work amazingly. This one was better than some because the cob was thicker than most remakes' versions, but it still felt like a lot of just relying on the ropes rather than the shaft and dropping down above the finish platform. Not sure how to fix that, but the guards could at least spin it faster!
Show of Hands is a weird way to end... and boring as ever At least it's interesting to see them using well-known figures instead of just math problems. Harder for me to play along, but still interesting!
Slippery Stairs is actually a game I like watching (not saying the Show Down is one I don't like watching, obv!). I feel like the filming of this wasn't great, and they could do with much wider shots instead of zoomed-in shots of individual people sliding. Also, maybe more projectiles (or even just oil) because it all seemed to end pretty fast. But for a remake without a Show Down, it wasn't a bad finale.
It's clear that this wasn't meant to be a strict remake of Takeshi's Castle, but one that made use of some of the more popular games (or just stole Saudi Arabia's selections ), so it wasn't bad. The studio bits are a bit dumb for us, but if it gives us new TC footage, it's still worth it. A lot of the games do seem a bit easy, but I think the difficulty of most could be upped by just having the guards be rougher.
It is strange how this seems to have copied TC Saudi Arabia on game selection, but not theme. The colors and storyline are veeeery different, but the games we've seen so far are very identical. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Home Run and Dominoes are interchangeable here too! Yes, there are some non-SA things like Slippery Stairs (but that's just the final) and Knock Knock II (which is probably there mainly for Knock Knock I anyway).
Definitely nice to see women competing in this version at least!!

It's definitely possible, but from my research some other countries don't have much safety stuff in place at this point. Take Sweden for example, they're pretty much completely back to normal now apparently, and with very little death which, is interesting.
No idea how Russia is doing right now, but it'd be kind of cool if this was recently filmed. I'll try to find the official pages for if, if there are any.

I found a review from one of the contestants who competed. I think she said there was a quarantine period before competing.
