Re:
Pretty much same as before, however it has ruined plans to fix exactly that.

Re: Views on 2020 so far
Good idea!
So far, on a world scale: Awful.
From the start, with the fires, war crap and me suspecting something stupid to come of coronavirus, all of 2020 hS been worrying to say the least. And of course now it just sucks!
There's a very wide range of reactions on the virus. Sure, some are overly caviler, but A LOT are way over protective. When I read that school was cancelled NEXT schoolyear, I wanted to smash my phone on the ground. Give an option to stay home, I don't even care anymore - just give me the option. Some people can't just stay at home all day (namely elementary and middle school kids), and NEED someone to watch them and education. Doing distance "learning" isn't serving either purpose.
The statistics are there, and most of the cases "right now" are from months ago. The CDC themselves admitted to that delay.
When there's a better chance of a kid getting hit by lightning than dying of coronavirus, it's time to get back to school.
Also, I'm just worried for our future. Everyone being distanced obviously hasn't helped us act maturely and respectfully in public.
The little things are angering me now, but I'm just pissed!

Re: Views on 2020 so far
Thanks Zaku
Obviously things could be a lot worse, but I am just a little worried for our future.
My uncle works as a doctor at a hospital, and was put into quarantine after dealing with some sick patients. His viewpoint is that, while evidently dangerous, this is being blown-up to mass proportions and the lockdowns made things worse. That's what I'm seeing based on my stats as well. Their are few neutral sources when it comes to this stuff, so I try to look at the data from both sides. Sucks that the data is so different though, as obviously some of it is either incorrect or the result of some sort of bias
I think we can all agree, we'd be so much better off right now had that stupid bat (or whatever it was) not been alive to bite someone (or whatever happened). Ugh.
