Ultimate Tag So there actually is a new show coming this Summer - billed as a supersized version of "Tag":
I'm not too fussed honestly, and the trailer gives me Million Dollar Mile vibes.
The atmosphere looks the same, if not worse, and I'm willing to bet the hosts will take the more serious route and the obstacles won't change weekly Or if they do, they'll just have two separate batches of obstacles that they alternate week on week
I hope they prove me wrong (especially since it's made by Jesse Laflair), but it looks like another crappy modernized fitness show that puts style over substance.
Any bets on there being about four competitors a week, each with a hugely quirky or "inspiring" backstory?
I just want Big Bounce to come to America, dangit!
Re: To me, it looks a lot more like Gladiators than anything else, except all the games boil down to being variations of Tag. I wonder whether it will translate well onto screen, there are some tag tournaments on YouTube with a lot of production value but I find them just a bit too quick to watch on screen, it's hard to keep track of exactly what's going on.
Re: Ultimate Tag That's my concern - plus tag is something fun to play and not to watch. I don't think I'll enjoy people just running left and right, if they're not putting any more thought into it.
