Yeah, I agree about the General (Dan does too), it's a shame he's not so likable. Although I took the pulling off the ring as more of a fake mad/acting thing 
I don't know, but I'm thinking it'll continue well past - we've still only seen Tug of War once and Avalanche (a MASSIVE game) twice.
Plus, they originally promised at least 50 games, which they've only delivered half of.
Maybe they'll give us double the episodes to make up for only having half the games?  While the games are more than enough for now, I do hope they integrate some new ones if it carries on past 13 eps - especially considering they do play almost half of the games weekly!
I'd be more than happy with simple games like Dragon Lake and Poles Apart, too. Way more than happy!
EDIT: The website calls these episodes "season 1" (which I think was changed in the last few days). I definitely think more episodes may be on the table  Hopefully they read this forum for advice

Yeah, don't think he featured once in the show  Hope he featured in the second season (if there is one) then. Weird he was the only guard to be cut from an episode and was cut in both outings.
Makes you think of the round costume that preceded Spud not being shown in the UK version
