It seems to be quite a while - definitely more than the typical Japanese/Thai ep. I think these were filmed in June or earlier (with a few maybe being in the past month or two), so it's a fair gap.
So far the episode order appears to be almost entirely random. They're clearly not being shown in production order. If I were to venture a guess, the order the first seven were filmed in would be something like:
5, 1, 3, 6, 2, 7, 4
Maybe.

I'm 90% sure the trailer for next week was meant to be the trailer for episode four (it has the same games, in the same order). I can't go back and confirm because the trailer at the end of episode 3 was just a repeat of the episode 2 promo.
What a great show this 
My theory with all of the trailer mistakes is that they originally edited them to be aired in a certain order (probably production order), but then realized they'd get more variety by skipping around.
But then they got too lazy to edit the promos.
I have a hunch we may see the episode advertised at the end of episode four (with Show of Hands and Tug of War) next week, seeing as it'll definitely be wholly different from what they're promoting...

Hoping to see Avalanche again because that was great the last time.
I'd be glad to see Skipping Stones, Bridge Ball and Knock Knock as they need to start building "popular game" status.

So we get the Slippery Wall next week (with ladder again  ), as well as Avalanche, Tug of War, Wet Paint and Turtle Hurtle. Lots of newer games!
One game is missing from the trailer again, which I heavily suspect is Blueberry Hill or Skittles.

The newest one wasn't quite as interesting. Hey, I should probably go to that thread to comment.

Here's the lineup for this week (likely our last episode for a bit, at least):
Honeycomb Maze, Skittles, Palm Tree Trip, Avalanche, High Rollers, Run Way, Dominoes
I REALLY hope Honeycomb Maze comes before Skittles. That'd finally mix the hill games up! 
And we still (probably) have two main game surprises and a surprise starting game...
