Just watched the first episode

It's perfectly good fun while not all that fantastic either. Can't believe they're not wearing helmets or shin and elbow pads for the windmills and logs!

Pretty much. It's a decent idea, and might be easier to vary stuff if they get a second season with a slightly better budget, but I doubt this will happen.

I did watch part of episode two and they used the slippery ice challenge twice, which is interesting. That is one way to mix-up the game selection, but by resting one game they have to shove another into our face emoticon

Also, they seem to skip through most of the same holes each week, which is disappointing emoticon

I admit, I was wrong and there will be a season 2!

So far only thing I can find is a picture of a woman trying to jump to a rotating shark and falling off backwards. So I hope that means this season will be a bit more obstacle-y than last time, rather than it just being hitting some golf balls.

Still looks like the same "massive obstacle that never changes" though emoticon

EDIT: Actually, I found an exclusive preview with a lot more!

https://ew.com/tv/holey-moley-exclusive-season-2-first-look/

It looks really good, buuuuut it looks like stuff will repeat as before. And what the hell at the two they kept being the wave and egg ones that they never showed - I was sure they were going to keep the windmills and polar bear ones that they loved to show us so much. They'll probably just get cut week on week again emoticon. Looks like the one with the different "distraction" people (drill sergeant, singer, etc) is back, probably cos it's a simple one to make.

The porta-potties are kind of like Smackwalls emoticon

I do like the rotisserie obstacle, though, looks like fun.

I hope it doesn't steer too far into Wipeout territory, that portaloo (I refuse to call them port-a-potty's, sorry Americans) obstacle looks a little bit close. I remember finding the golf aspect a lot more entertaining that I thought I was going to with the first season, I hope that doesn't get sidelined to make more of an obstacle course.

Meh, I'd like to see more of the shark and rotisserie ones. I agree though, don't want Smackwalls popping up in this show now!

I'll only be watching one week though if the obstacles don't at least vary a bit.

Kind of a little thing and maybe of no significance, but I noticed that with the shark hump hole, some videos have shown contestants on a diving-board to reach the shark, while some videos show contestants seemingly jumping from a stable platform.

So, this course may just have two sides, BUT this could mean we'll have some variation this seasons if some eps utilize the diving-board while others don't.. emoticon

Well it looks like we will see 12 obstacles this time. That is more than last season. emoticon

https://www.vulture.com/2020/05/holey-moley-season-2-golf-course-premiere.html

It does not look like the diving board shark game will vary judging by the description.

Also the first season is actually visible on Youtube if you look holey Moley mini golf tv. emoticon

I saw! That does look good - the bucking bronco thing, duckies, zipline and planets looking pretty good (along with the stuff I've discussed earlier on). Interested to see how exactly they've improved Dutch Courage. Surprising they've gone with one round to come back completely unchanged - not a bad choice in round thoguh.

I am confident that the electricity and dam ones will be cut on a weekly basis. Maybe the planets and fire ones too emoticon

But where's the man from the trailer hanging upside-down and taking the pie to the face come into play? I assumed it was a "distractor"-style hole, but that hole is gone emoticon So maybe there are more than 12 holes? None of these look like suitable final rounds after all, so maybe we aren't seeing the whole picture yet emoticon

Re: Holey Moley - Premieres on May 21!

So the four biggest things IMO areeeee:

1. They only showed Sweet Spot once. Everything else was featured probably seven times (at minimum), but Sweet Spot was only featured once. It wasn't even a bad hole either emoticon

2. We need more small changes like moving Tee'd Off to be a potential Round 1 round as well (or maybe it was always going to be a round 1 and 2, who knows). Of course, preferably they'd have more than three third rounds so they wouldn't always have to use it
in the first and second round of the same episode. They could just make some Round 1 games into Round 2 games. They all could've worked, and I think Sweet Spot would actually work well as a Round 2. Tee'd Off is probably the most boring obstacle, so a shame that one was probably the most featured for whatever reason.

3. I agree with Alex, the robot thing takes up a lot of time, is rather dull IMO, and was NEVER skipped. Why?! Also, it's weird how it began the traditional final Round 1 game near the end of the series - unless that was just a coincidence emoticon

4. Mix up the editing. They did start to do that by cutting an extra round sometimes or by featuring all round 2s, but they almost always cut 2 first rounds and 1 second round, which just makes it seem so formulaic.

PS: Obviously I just skipped through these to make the guide, but I saw enough to be able to have opinions on both the games and the editing emoticon

I saw a commerical for this i think. It is the one where the bars spin and crap right? The contestants have to put the ball usual. I find the show obscene o. My husband ud probably enjoy the show due to the huge fact that he plays golf you know? I find it stereotypical.
