Re: Animations!

Tug of War one is definitely one of the best. What are the others? I’m honestly having trouble remembering now. I did enjoy the concentric, colorful circles before Sumo Rings(?) and some other games, but it’s hard to remember past that!

Slip Way, Skipping Stones, and Showdown stick in my memory because no other games share those [sign in to see URL] was nearly going to say Honeycomb Maze and then I remembered Corn Cob Trip. There was also lots of one off animations for the letters (T Is For...) in the A-Z special

If you're talking about the original animations. then there is some good ones out there and plenty of good music, Rice Bowl Down Hill, indestruct-a-ball with Dig Dug game over music at the end and Square Maze

It’s odd as some animations are shared between two common games (Mushroom Trip and Knock Knock, I believe, both have the red stars over a light-blue background), while others only have one game that’s a one-off! emoticon It does make them more special though!

I think Tug of War’s graphic would’ve looked okay for The Gauntlet (with the arrows’ directions all reversed, perhaps).

Why did you mention Rice Bowl down hill because BlueMantis posted the music uninterrupted in the other thread called Bgm replication Project!

The music in the Japanese animation for Rice Bowl Down Hill isn't the same as the music in the game itself.

The music in the animation is from the Sega Master System game Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

Yup, plus there's no law against posting a BGM that has already been found, anyway! emoticon
