Re: Comedy Central UK Episode guide

So they've jumped completely over the Blueberry Hill/Bridge Ball eps and stuck with the Skittles/Mushroom Trip set. I think next week is the time to crack-open a new game or two (perhaps try Indonesian ep 18 - you get Blueberry Hill and Bridge Ball, but Extinction can be saved until around ep 8 for UK). I suspect they'll try to mix it up as little as possible, though, the way they excised the nine eps that would add a little variety emoticon

Slippery Wall to Mushroom Trip to Honeycomb Maze is a MUCH nicer opening. What's the logo about? emoticon

Answers on a postcard please.

Episode 4 (13/12/18)
Special guest: "Georgie Shore" Vicky Pattinson
Original Episode 11
Stepping Stone (Pipe Cleaners in 78's helmet?, number 2 knows what to do)
Slippery Wall (looked like everyone's tired after failing)
Now You See Me (That is Blueberry Hill, looked like 2 blueberry's just gave up and so close yet so near, highlights at the end)
Honeycomb (Maze)
Flying Mushroom (Sunset already, and quite a landing that they actually broke some teeth)
Final Fall
Show Down

What are they going to call Extinction if they ever show that?

Interesting, sounds to me like it's either 10, 11 or 19 (unless it's taken from multiple ones, of course!). I have to say that they've done a decent job of mixing the games up so far.

..Yes, I know we've only seen nine different games, BUT they are making things a bit different by cutting some games that otherwise appeared almost every week emoticon Slippery Wall seems even stupider being the second event - why not just make it first?! emoticon

The preseason trailer reveals we have quite a few episodes to look forward to - going by the number of guests shown.

Some funny falls there, but does point to the issue of repetition in series 2 - that I just learned of five minutes ago!

While the celebrity guests certainly don't add much for me, they are relatively harmless and don't really hurt things too much either. I was expecting Pattison to be as annoying as always, but she did a decent job in the announcers chair! But - uh-oh - not looking forward much to hearing Kemp's exchanges with Roman Brady next week. I'll probably play it on mute then!

Guess though that episode 4 is the best we've seen so far, or episode 3 if not. Seems they are steadily improving things - I know this was filmed a couple of years ago anyway - so look forward to seeing what is on it's way from now.

You'll definitely be getting Extinction and Bridge Ball soon (they debut in 12 and 14, respectively), which is LOADS of variation compared to the identical weeks of season 2. Still curious if they'll be using season 2 on Comedy Central? It better not be the whole season! emoticon

Hopefully still they found ways to mix Extinction and Bridge Ball up so they were as fun on appearance 17 as they were on appearance 1!

They only each appeared four times, so not really necessary emoticon Hopefully they'll at least bring the old games over to the new set for the new season!

I think the lake behind Skipping Stones would serve Wipe Out, Mushroom Trip and Bridge Ball well. Along with some all-new games, of course emoticon

Really strange decision to play the games at such differing rates - seems every episode has the Stones, while only 10 percent have Gibraltar! And really both of those - and Extinction - are fairly similar in favoribility for me, so shame they've gone and made it wonky.

Yeah, Stones (and Slippery Wall) have been in every episode, and Honeycomb Maze has been in all but one emoticon

I would assume that they expected to use Bridge Ball and Extinction a lot more than they ended-up doing. Though, I still have no idea why they waited so long to introduce either of them - that didn't help!

Maybe they had planned to film season 2 in the same place, but the contract expired on them? Or perhaps they just didn't yet know the expenses of taking a bunch of games over to the new set.

Either way, it seems so wasteful emoticon

Oh, I have to admit a little disappointed to hear those stats really. It seems rather easy to replace games from week to week - and easy still to move a few more obstacles to the new location! Here is hoping for a small redo for season 3 - potentially using the block idea.
