Do they listen to them while using a fedora, playing Fortnite and looking at memes?
Sorry, I'm just sick of my own generation
I would not put it past them, though I'd argue that Fortnite is a bit too mainstream for them.
Probably "old-school Nintendo" or something...

I collect records, but it's because I like them, not because some hipsters buy them.

Re: BGM Replication Project
Got a question that probably only an Ultimate Detective could answer...
Who composed the Enter the Dragon remix used in The Honeycomb Maze? If I can't find it, looks like I'll have to commission this one too. (Wallet = ) At least there are already MIDIs that'd simplify the process somewhat.

Re: BGM Replication Project
That I can agree with! I just got my Taito Game Music CD so I'm about to rip the "choosing" music from Tug of War. While technically the same track is used in an episode of Big Bird I'm going to disregard that in favour of Tug of War, because let's face it... it just sounds cooler as a prelude to a big tug. Yes I realise how that sounds.
Edit: Ah, contrary to what I read there are two different tracks being used from the same game in the Taito OST. They were just listed as the same one, and I didn't remember "Flying Alive" so well as I always remembered "Chevok's Run" when I thought of Big Bird. I guess that means this CD was a better purchase than I thought.
In other news, Thunderbirds are going in the post today. That'll be on vinyl. Blast.

Re: BGM Replication Project
Apologies for the double-post. I'd rather not edit thrice, but I'll refrain from doing so in future if it's naughty!
I'm just a little bit frustrated by how the BGM was left out of some of the UK episodes. I was wondering why I had no idea what the Whack the Stack music was. The answer is that it was never in the UK episodes! Now I'm wondering if I should put them in the soundtrack on the basis that 99.9% UK viewers would never have heard the song.
Or I could include them since a secondary part of this project is restoring all the missing music anyway...
It's not an especially easy decision. 120 games in the show (some of which have alternating music or multiple parts), 74 minutes on a typical CD... you do the maths!
After further consideration this will be a three-CD project.

Double-posting is fine, and in some cases, it helps to alert people of new information they'd not see if it was on the editing feature.

Re: BGM Replication Project
Yeah, I just noticed which is interesting since the amount of games is considerably higher. Still, this'll realistically need three CDs if the average track length is two minutes. (Not certain at this stage, though around forty minutes of music is currently finished.)
I've been a bit confused about something. You reported (or rather Satosu) that Boulder Dash's BGM is an Ultraman remix but I can't hear anything in the game. Also, just to confirm, is it true that there is no BGM for Uphill Garden itself, but at least on one occasion they used Bridge Ball's BGM?

Re: BGM Replication Project
Some of the games didn't have BGMs (In the Sack, Brat SAck, Annimudle) and some of the games share the same BGM (Die Or Pie and Hands Down or Giant Maze and Space Invaders).
Boulder Dash was played twice in the UK series (even though they were different games they had the same title). When it was played in episode 1 it didn't have a BGM but when it was played in the monsters special it had the Ultraman Theme as the BGM (albeit a remixed version).
Uphill Garden did not have a BGM in episode 1. In episode 2 they used the Combat! theme and after that they used the theme from Thunderbirds.
