Ninja Warrior France

I'll post what I said about Ninja Warrior France on the NWUK topic on here:
Quote:

I like how on the French one they haven't gone with the normal 6-obstacle arrangement and tried to change things up with a choice of obstacle at the start. I also like how they went with the German format of 2 stages in the heats.

Re: Ninja Warrior France

For those of you who haven't seen it (probably everyone), I'll talk this through in more detail.
In Ninja Warrior France, they have 2 stages in the heats (like the German version). I think it's 50 tackle stage 1, and the top 15 or something move on to stage 2.
In stage 1, the first obstacle is a choice between a lower and upper body obstacle (lower body: escalator and prism tilt, upper body: big dipper and swing circle).
After that the 2 paths join back together. The 2nd and 4thobstacles are pretty traditional but the 3rd is things like Half-Pipe Attack, Giant log grip and Sonic curve. The 5th obstacle is the warped wall.
Stage 2 is always Floating steps, beam cross, Salmon ladder, Arm rings, Chimney climb (apart from in the final).

Interesting! Certainly better than Germany, Austria and the U.K. version that always seem to be exact copies of each other.

I saw a really positive review of Minja Warrior Arabia a couple of weeks back that also said it was quite original in course structure and vibe emoticon

If that was Universal Tuber, then I watched that too. I am not as keen on NW Egypt/Arabia as him. The course layout is pretty standard, it's just there are 3 full stages that makes it different from most ANW spin-offs.

NW France promo out today:

Looks decent like last year, once again using a batch of obstacles that have never appeared on NW France before (including swing surfer, tilting slider, rolling pin, area 51, giant cubes and the clacker).
