KuroOvi - A Search for the Ultimate Hero

New show that's been in the works for a few months now.

Before I lose you, it's made by the original producer of Sasuke, so you can't call it a ripoff. I see it as a bit of a Sasuke (lots of the obstacles they chose, Japanese) and Ultimate Beastmaster (the theming of courses, the jokes), which sounds great to me.

They've setup a test-course in Tokyo to test things out and let different people run it.
The producer has been coming up with new things, too, like the Twisted Wall (a wall competitors must run up and grab the side of, but it's thinner and curves to the side) and Metrorail car (climbing around a realistic-looking train-car using an asssortment of different grips from the bars to the vent on the ceiling). The transition between the Floating Boards and walls is also tricky, adding an extra element!

There's also the Giant Wall (a giant wall with two side-walls attached to it, which competitors must find a way to grab the top of and climb over) and the Floating Pipes (two large suspended pipes with their bottoms missing which competitors must climb through). Also like that they have to remember the number while doing the Twisted Wall to get on the subway.

The whole course is dressed like a city-scene (the Twisted Wall looks like a road, the Metrorail, the chain-link fence and the brick walls to climb over) and it works pretty well, I'd say. Looks original and is a bit fitting since a lot of the obstacles require street-parkour skills.

The goal of the show is to find the 'Ultimate Hero' (so I'm thinking it's also going to be a Beastmaster-like tournament) through the obstacles. I do hope there're several courses/variations and obstacle-changes to the course, but this is looking pretty good. I don't know if it's all speed-based (love that element so far) or if it's different people week-to-week, but it has a solid basis emoticon

They're a lot of videos out there on the official channel, but here's a good one. Sasuke's Kong Express attempting the test-course:

This in interesting! Definitely looking forward to see what the main thing itself is like. Looking at the website they're recording over several days, so it's hopefully going to be a big setup.

I'm personally hoping for a simple competition that has a bunch of different courses.

We can hope for a bunch of obstacles that change each time, but that never works out.

Just 40% rotating obstacles would be good enough to me

Re: KuroOvi - A Search for the Ultimate Hero

It takes place in a subway car. I find that gross. The fact that the circular things hanging can move is also gross. It is not fair hardly. I like the pipes that move on American Ninja Competitor. They move. They are novel. I like the jumping the ring. I am a huge catching the ball. My husband is a huge nacho cheese topping. I am a huge machine at yogurtland. I am puzzled by this show. They do challenges. Math features. Why is math included within a math competition. I find it hugely too hard. Messup will be happy o. He is a huge trinomination. He is also a huge slanted wall attempt. He will like the show. Messup can not watch o. He attends school. I like the humor in the movie. I am watching the Martian. Sorry I forgot the subject at hand. WHat deos the Chinese thing have to do with this movie. I forgot the subject again. I find it too hard. I find it hilarious. This looks like the thing where they go through the monster. They do the obstacles. The obstacles are the monsters bodyparts. I find it gross. I am not a huge crap in a beasts body. I am a huge pullup attempt. I hope they eliminate this program. I am big on sanitation. One time I put cotton candy dishsoap. The music on the movie I am viewing is annoying. The movie is novel. I will start a new group about the show.

I find the theme of the show gross. I watched numerous attempts. They are hross. It is Japanese o. I find that novel. The chain link fence is novel. I do not like the subway thing with the moving circle objects. This show has to much math. Messups pipe description sounds too hard. Crawling through the two pipes. It is too hard. I will view the program. It is made by the same company that made Cannonball probably because they were both made this month. I find it possible. It may be an international company within Japan and the United Kingdom. I find it possible. Maybe they ul produce some new obstacles. I hope they are novel seeming. I hope it is outdoors. I will enjoy counting colorful cars driving by. It may be more interesting than the obstacle course. I find that lousy. The show is lousy. This discussion is novel. One time I initiated a novel discussion about the hurricane in the Phillipines. Another time I created a disucssion about dried oceans on mars. I find the themes novel. It is better than tv shows probably.

Another positive sign, a new obstacle (nothing gross miamigirl, don't worry emoticon)!:

Another original idea!

It's not getting many views. They need to do some promotion.
