Is that sarcasm? emoticon I only ever watched one full episode of Splatalot.

I can't believe you've watched the whole series already! You must have really enjoyed it emoticon

I'll watch some more but 9/10 episodes of the exact same things doesn't appeal to me. I can never understand the thinking behind keeping everything the same and exacting viewers will want to watch pretty much the same episode over and over. Slightly speeding things up or changing the angle doesn't make a difference when you're sitting at home watching.

Disappointing after a promising start.

Oh I'm not saying I'm pleased about that bit, but things could definitely be worse. I doubt season 2 will have much of a different course from this season, but I do think they'll vary it a lot more (with similar obstacles). Just my thought process here.

But if you're going to reuse obstacles, do it in season 1, because at least at the beginning all the obstacles are new to the viewers.

And the angled pipe will matter to the watcher. Trust me! emoticon

I must say I'm a little bit disappointed in myself for watching 10 episodes of similar obstacles in a day, but it was still fun. The obstacles at least provide some good falls, which I don't usually think is a big thing for me, but at least you get variety there.

I'm definitely throwing some of this stuff into my training as well, but just for fun (most likely).

Just judging from how they've operated I expect something a bit like this:

Level 1

-Jawbreaker
-Mother Tongue to balancing pole OR some pulling a weight upward with a rope to bring down a wall with cliffhanger ledges (similar to Throat Erosion)
-Faceplant
-Some small trampolines placed similarly to the Energy Coils circles, but with slightly smaller gaps (because I think they wouldn't wanna use Energy Coils after some of the falls, sadly)
-Mag Wall at an even steeper angle towards the end and with a point thruster
-that orange climbing thingy with bars on that we saw in the background (guessing they're gonna use it sometime...)

Level 2

-Something over the opening mud pit on Wipeout, possibly some tricky steps on springs or something of the like (we know they're using it sometime...)
-a bunch of the Beast's bones that are placed going across so you can balance on them, hang from them or hang from them while balancing on them (mainly to take up the walkway to the Big Balls area, because I think Stomach Churn was placed around where the Big Balls used to be)
-Stomach Churn (first gear spinning, fourth gear not so far down)
Digestive Track that doesn't sink but has a waterfall from the top (could totally see this)
-Dreadmills (faster)
-Chain Reaction
-Vertabrace

Level 3

-the treadmill that starts into... something a big more grippy (think they wanted more clears on this one)
-the white pipes we've already had (forget the name)
*Guessing they'll keep only the Risky Route*
Bungee Beds (each getting slightly higher)
-obstacle where a bar is slid down the track
INTO
-Weapon

Level 4

Conveyer Rockwall
The fingertip grips used in season 1
The Spider Climb used in season 1
Awkward Rocks (a few awkwardly-positioned holds the contestant must climb)

I didn't notice where any of it was in comparison to Wipeout. The hills around the edge of the pool were a lot lower than they used to be I'm sure?

You don't? emoticon

It only makes sense because the Dreadmills take up where the second-to-last Qualifier obstacle was and the tunnel is probably where the walkway to it was so the gear-area is probably the Big Balls area.

You couldn't see the course? emoticon

Did you notice the Wipeout ramp used on the Dreadmills? The Beasmaster version of the Dreadmills I mean. Confused yet? emoticon. That's the only point I used and made judgements based on the rest of that.

I couldn't see the hills though, because it was dark emoticon

I haven't watched a single episode, because I've been way to busy over the last few weeks.

But when you log in from Germany you can actually watch the German version and the US version.

German media preferred Ninja Warrior Germany over Ultimate Beastmaster. They went crazy for Ninja Warrior, weren't too excited about Ultimate Beastmaster.

When you get the chance to watch, do one episode in German and another in English. I'm wondering how different the host are, and whether it has a different feel between different versions. One of the German hosts is a comedian, so I'm guessing that version will be a bit more lighthearted than the American one.

The American one is pretty light-hearted, I think.

Although in Germany the hosts called the course a b***h within the first two minutes emoticon

I've still not watched another episode yet. I suppose spreading it out will make it a little less repetitive.
