Game Show Network I was going to post this in our Fun Gameshows topic but I think it should have its own. I guess you could say this is our equivalent to Challenge and they're some shows on it I really like.
Let's take a look
Starting with Idiotest On it they have two teams of two who compete in brain teasers. The main point is to get people thinking outside the box. Here's a Friends vs Married (yes they are all themed, which is a bit rubbish ) episode!:
I'm guessing most people know of $10,000 Pyramid. Again, two teams, two people on each. One member will have to give clues as to what a word is and the other must guess what the word is. They're different categories (like four-letter words). Here you go:
Yeah I couldn't find a full-screen episode on Youtube game
I think you all know about the Chase - at least the British version. Three contestants have to try and beat the chaser, Mark Labbett (very smart). This is an episode of our own version:
ANOTHER show you might know is Family Feud. Two five-player teams must guess an answer that some of 100 people who were surveyed said to a question (such as, something in your house that is too heavy to throw). The more people who gave it as an answer, the more points the contestant will earn! Here y'ar:
And to end, there's Deal or No Deal. The contestants must test their luck and know when to stop risking it to get the most valuable case. Yes this is the British version Here it is!:
Enjoy! And I'll post more if anyone's interested...
Re: Game Show Network I loved Game Show Network back in 2001 but like Latedep said the network really went into the toitie at a certain point. The used to air the Merv Griffin, Chuck Barris, Barry Enright and Fremantle Library. Now all they air is Family Fued with Steve Harvey and some original shows which aren't all that great. Hear me talk about them in my new podcast, Game Show Lovers Forever
