Re: Takeshi Info

Is he in first Sumo Rings (parent and kids)? I see he's a giant baseball like Spud or Dainenji emoticon

Also...

Daily Fact: The show was going to do a special every half year or so after the regular show ended but all they did was episodes 130-133.

Avalanche Facts:

The boulders go back up via a small platform on a pulley.

In one outing, all contestants have a golden microphone strapped to their backs.

Contestants did get away with being hit with some boulders.

This game evolved from Boulder Dash in episode one.

Although played far less than the other nine games, Avalanche placed sixth favorite game on Takeshi's Castle on Keshi Heads' poll in 2014.

Dominoes Facts:

In a family episode, the parent and kid were tied together while the kid ran on a set of mini Dominoes.

Dominoes has inspired obstacles on many other shows to follow this lead and not just Takeshi's Castle remakes.

This game is not really played underground.

Blueberry Hill:

This game has been played downhill - with Animal instead of Yousichi.

Blueberry Hill shares a hill with Skittles (and Wet Paint).

The "berries" are darumas in Japanese.

Blueberry Hill was played twice in the snow and once re-branded as Cheeze-berry Hill.

Just a quick question, what episode did they have a microphone on their back?

Square Maze:

First game to involve guards
Kibaji had 3 different wigs in the square maze
In episode 10 they added a pit of water to top left door, but in episode 11 they added a pit to the middle right door.
Ueda was in the first 4 times then replaced by Kibaji
There was a variation where they were blindfolded, but only involved Strong Kongo, some if the doors where jammed, even if the contestant got caught, they still all went through.
At least one contestant got through every episode.
It was the older version of the Honeycomb Maze.
It was the first game in every episode, but the 1st one, (not including best of's)
In the first episode you started from the bottom left and make it to top right.
There was a red floor to show the start and the end.
In the kids version the children stood on a platform next to it.
Only one person got on top of the square maze
Strong Kongo was in ever Square maze.

Slipped Disks was the first game to involve guards, namely the emerald guards.

Square Maze was the first game to involve guards other than the emerald guards... or feature guards that were personally named on the show.

I think series three (although that doesn't help much because most Avalanches appear in series three), I know I saw it but only once emoticon Maybe they just brought microphones with them and they weren't forced to? But then I never saw any golden microphone in the other games. Sorry I can't help much emoticon

And you made 100 posts already emoticon

It's episode 34 of the original series with the big microphones (which say Machikado Terebi(街角テレビ) - "Street Corner TV")

Thank you! Street Corner TV sounds familiar but I don't know where/when I've heard about it.

You might know it better as "Karaoke."
