Re: Entertainment Rescue Hahaha! Probably not - I checked them out online, I think they even have a new song now, maybe they caved to pressure to up their game after seeing Haruki's phenomenal effort
It was a very good job they didn't have to actually dismantle a tuna - those things are pretty impressive . The song wasn't lying either - the dude from Kuroshio market I saw filleted one in like 7 minutes, all the while explaining the process and throwing in a few gags, leaving only a tuna skeleton and a crowd of hungry spectators in his wake
Re: Entertainment Rescue Some late, very late and late, but not that late comments about those videos:
The quiz host from the Bra video was different from the one they usually had, wasn't she.
And I didn't know that there were show bras. But I would have guessed the one with the golden bits, because why would you need fancy looking golden bits if you don't show them?
The puppy training was cool. My parents have a dog, too, and I tried the teach it a few things. Some worked, some didn't work, because they've already spoilt the dog (e.g. they accepted when she sit, even though she was told down and vice versa)
The sleeping positions reminded me of my the past, too. When we did our 24 hour web broadcast I did exactly the same with someone else from the team. Demonstrating different sleeping positions. But we didn't went to the point to recreate sleeping positions from animals.
And for the record: I usually sleep on my stomach or on the side, but always with the pillow over my head.
For the tune of tuna: When I saw the thumbnail I thought that they'll play music with tuna. But this was probably even better!
The Haruki Potter movie trailer was one of my favourite trailers ever. So it's nice to see the making-of. Seeing the video I can't help but think of how unfortunate it is that the show's not airing anymore. You could learn so much about making movies like with the green screen this time.
Bit disappointed in the creator of the clip for not giving it the totally misleading title of "Mari's taking her clothes off for a movie!?".
Re: Entertainment Rescue Before MaiMai they used to have different people hosting the EntUp section every week. They didn't really do anything except introduce the film they're promoting. They didn't properly host the section like MaiMai.
I'd never have thought you could train a puppy that fast! My dad's dog does know stuff like "sit" but it definitely took her far longer to learn than 5 minutes!
Haha, you and Haruki. Great minds think alike when it comes to sleeping positions. And you sleep with your pillow OVER your head!? That really is just as weird as Haruki's cutesy pose too
It's sad that the show's not on anymore for so many reasons They're one of the best partnerships ever. I wish TV channels would see this and bring it back.
And again I sincerely apologise for that oversight on the title. But she didn't really take her clothes off, so it's okay
Re: Entertainment Rescue I know that she didn't take it off, but that's the title you see on YouTube all the time. Whenever somebody is just asked if they would, you get that title. It's horrible.
There's a backstory to my pillow OVER the head sleeping position. I don't have proper curtains or anything to close my windows completely. I have some blinds, but they still bring lots of light into my room.
And the light in the morning always woke me up way to early so used the pillow to keep it dark. And now I'm so used to it, I don't think I'll ever be able to sleep on a pillow again.
Re: Entertainment Rescue Oh yeah - there are a bunch of false titles on YouTube. But all the ones I've used are true to the videos. Mari did remove a bra. So that Haruki would stop touching it.
Ah well your pillow weirdness makes sense then at least I never used to be able to sleep without having the duvet over most of my head, but now I didn't even mind not having most of my body covered up.
... How much more are we going to discuss sleeping positions!?
Re: Entertainment Rescue sleeping positions are an interesting topic though!
Another story from my life which involves sleeping positions: When I was in 2nd grade, we had a slumber party at school. We were all sleeping next to each other and I was sleeping next to one of my teachers (who was still in training and thus not my main teacher). So all our heads were next to each other in a row.
The next day my teacher said that I was moving around during night and changed sleeping positions. At one point my head was where everyone else's feet were and at one point my head was resting on his sleeping bag. Which was really weird, I didn't notice that I was moving around, but my teacher said that I used the "sleep on your teacher" sleeping position.
Ever since quite a few people said that I'm moving a lot at night and move my head to the end of the bed, etc.
Re: Entertainment Rescue I really have no idea. It might be a very special and very rare version of sleepwalking, where you're too lazy to stand up and thus just spin around.
There was really a long time when I thought that my teacher just made a joke. We were really sleeping quite close to each other and I don't think that sleeping on other people's legs is quite comfortable. But as I said: even years later people confirmed this.
