Their amazement at the zooming-in on the faces reminded me of that time where Haruki demonstrated his skill of being able to trick his digital camera's facial recognition into thinking that his face wasn't a face emoticon

And now (at long last!) the Yaguchi Hitori Detective Agency is open. It's time for a Murder Mystery!

On the forum ticker, it just says "Yaguchi Hitori Murder". That's a way to get back into people's heads, isn't it? Anyway... emoticon

No it only says Yaguchi Hitori Murde with half an r. You should study the alphabet emoticon

It depends on what browser you're using as to whether the r gets cut off or not.

But I'm glad everyone's enjoying the videos so much that the best thing to discuss about them are how the titles appear on the ticker. Worth all the effort.

There was some particularly effective investigative technique used in this case, like asking the murder victim for the cause of death, and arguing over who gets to read a magazine emoticon

I think it's a cool idea for a variety show though - give the hosts a murder mystery to solve and see how they go about it. I don't think I'd seen it done before, but I liked how they got quite an involved story out of what is essentially a pretty simple setup emoticon .

[Edit - Liked the Poirot-esque thumbnail too! emoticon ]

Why dead?

Shall we dance?

I didn't get the code. It might be because Japanese phones are different from ours, but 1 doesn't refer to any letter. 2 is abc.

There used to be a show called Whodunnit?, which was basically having a murderer amongst the contestants and they had to figure out who was it. The worst player each week was killed by the murder.

In the end there was no need to know Whodunnit. You just had to solve the final puzzle game the fastest. But I still liked the show.

Re: Entertainment Rescue

I've never seen the keypad of a Japanese phone, but I'd imagine the characters must start at number 1 because there are more of them to fit in than in our alphabets.

I'd never have worked that out anyway, even if I did know! I wonder how long it actually took Mari to get it, or if they gave extra hints we didn't see?

Knew it must have had something to do with the birthdays from the start though, because why would they have given them otherwise! That's as far as I got on my own though emoticon

You noticed! emoticon Was trying to think of what kind of murder theme I could base it on, and ended up using the style of an old Murder on the Orient Express movie poster!
