I gave it a try. For one minute. What the (insert word that the hosts say every second) are they doing???? I HATE IT!! With a passion. What were they thinking. It's also even more innapropriate than the UK version, and I thought it would be the opposite

Yep
My Mom had me watch it, and I warned her that she'd hate the commentary, but she said it was new and i couldn't have seen it (  ). So we watch for a second and she regretted making me watch that lol.
I wouldn't be surprised if other parents who were following Wipeout on Facebook saw their post and had their kids watch it

I'm really surprised they have the same voiceovers. This must be the first time ever that v/os of a U.K. show have gone on to narrate an American version too.
I'm sure someone will tell me I'm wrong, but I certainly can think of any other show where this is happened. Seems very unusual.
