Re: Making of Crystal Maze
I think these new episodes were filmed at the same time as the 2017 series so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Oh didn't realize that. Then yeah, you're probably right and it's the same amount as before

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
I’m pretty sure 30 games is even less than they had in the first series. I love how they’re making out that this is impressive, but the original version always had all new games every series. And more than 30 of them too!

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
Seems to be the last episode again tonight. They’ve only shown 4 this time. How many are left now?
Splitting them up like this makes it even worse, dragging out the same old games forever.

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
According to the maths of how many they said they were going to do for their first series, this should be the last episode of the series. Guessing they'll probably film another one coz a set that big would have cost a lot to make. Let's hope they have more games this time - and no easy ones like putting apples on tree branches.

Does anyone else despise the radioactive turntable game in the industrial zone?

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
I like that one a lot, but the swinging planet one is my favourite.
It's amusing tonight's episode finished with a cover of the theme composed by the team, only for the Channel 4 continuity voice over most of it

It's also one of my faves, sorry I do agree that the apple/branch game was poorly-executed though!

About time then! All of the breaks make it feel like we've already had a few series

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
I feel like they think that the turntable game is better than it actually is. I don’t mind it, but it was nice to have a couple of episodes without it in this block.
The one I’m sick of is the totem pole one. That’s must be used in 95% of the episodes.
