Yes, my username says it all, an African takeshi's castle fan, been a takeshi's castle fan since 2012 and I loved it so much, no winners on my view, in 2016 I have forgotten everything about Takeshi's castle until my sister saw something familiar. It reminded her of Takeshi's Castle, decided to view the Children's special first. I am also looking very forward to TCSA on DSTV.

Nice! You discovered it before me then - I found it in 2013 
Could the similar program your sister saw be Takeshi's Castle Thailand? That originally ran from 2014-2016 (and now it is shown in the UK with a British host), so that could be it?
And I think you're the first fan from the African show! Keshi Heads' global takeover continues

Ah, that's cool.
Every once and a while we have an old member who hasn't visited the forum in years come back and say something reminded them of Takeshi or Keshi Heads. Especially now that there are some new Takeshi versions being produced over the last few years

I live in America where almost no one knows Takeshi's Castle either. Or, like one person I showed it to, think it was MXC (the American voiceover of Takeshi's Castle). I had to set them straight
