Korean Version I was searching Takeshi's Castle (the copy and pasted Japanese title) on Google, and somehow came to a blog dedicated to a Korean remake:
By the looks of it, they've used the exact Japanese title for the show's name. It ran from 1990 to 1993 on KBS. I'll look forward to looking at it in more detail
Re: Korean Version Hmm, it's not the same name unless I'm missing something? It's called "Thermal! Running Sunday" according to Google translate. I guess that's not an accurate translation
It has some of the same games and some different ones. I can't see a castle anywhere, but it does have a General.
Re: Korean Version I thought it had the same name as there are two characters, an !, with 4 other characters...but thanks for the correction! As for a castle, there is a picture slideshow on the site somewhere with the logo with a castle...that's all!
Re: Korean Version Oh right. I don't think you can translate "Fuuun" onto any language. It's one of those things that only make sense in Japanese. I've seen so many different translations of the word into English!
Re: Korean Version Cool, thanks for another episode. Looks like a decent remake, but I think it's the fact that we can't see so many of its episodes makes it less interesting than Indonesia. That, and it lacks some character, but it isn't terrible as I usually think of past remakes!
