Re: Formula 1, anyone? Ferrari's fast in practice, we've said that already. Go for Leclerc? Said that already, too. Over on F1 Fan Voice in the predictions survey, I've put a punt on Red Bull's next wannabe hotshot Alexander Albon at some point, likely Singapore, given it's tendency towards mayhem, fluking a win in that vastly improved Red Bull Honda. Just goes to show, it was McLaren's design causing the problems for Honda those three years, Red Bull's 'design philosophy' being a lot friendlier to the engine. With Renault engines, McLaren's own design has had a better time of it. That and they got rid of the loose nut they had behind the wheel... called Fernando...
Re: Formula 1, anyone? Care to try your luck with the ice hockey Game? (see previous page)
With Messup MIA, I'll soon have to cancel the Game...
With Bottas and Ocon settled, it'll be interesting to see where rest of drivers fall. If Albon doesn't do better than Gasly, RB has bit of a problem for next year.
Re: Formula 1, anyone? Dry, still Leclerc. Wet, Hamilton. It seems to be heading, that way. Tough to watch F2 this week with only 17 cars. The one I truly feel for is Calderon. She saw that horrible accident in Spa before her own eyes, now one of her teammates is dead and the other badly injured.
The sad thing is so many people - and it's not their fault, it's like with any sport when you're looking at it from outside - will have only heard of Hubert for the first time because of his death. The people who may well have said something like 'I didn't know there even was a Formula 2, I thought there was only Formula 1', and whose attention would have been grabbed by the headline 'driver dies'. I felt it a bit crass, though, that some areas of the British press acted as if those people wouldn't care unless someone they have heard of was involved, and said "Mick Schumacher was racing, but escaped", making it seem like he was involved when the incident happened at the back of the field while he was at the front. Like 'don't worry, the famous guy's fine'. Not cool.
Re: Due extraordinary circumstances* and the nature** of the Game, I'm accepting entrants even this late for the CHL Game (see previous page) on their word that they have no knowledge of the results so far.
*=there being no other players than me and mom
**=anyone not European and a large percentage of Europeans too not having a clue about CHL
Re: Formula 1, anyone? Is this turning into ten years ago, with Mercedes in the Brawn role of winning the championship by dint of a massive advantage at the start of the year, and Ferrari in the Red Bull role of wiping that out in the final third of the year to win races with abandon, but too late in the long run? Vettel's win in Singapore means either Ferrari could do it. Given the advantage internally has largely favoured Leclerc in terms of the car suiting his style, I'll go for Leclerc here.

I would really really really like to have one player taking a try on this...
Absolute last chance, yeah yeah it's been too late for long, but after next week I can't make any possible excuse to approve late entrants.
