Even if he apologized it, I kind of agree with Vettel's "message" to Whiting. The jury should've right away ordered Verstappen to let him pass, instead of letting him use to his/his team's advantage the situation he had gained unfairly.

Also I'm totally surprised about Vettel's penalty. I didn't see anything wrong in that situation (if it was the one I'm thinking, I'm still a bit confused).

Hamilton getting into a position to be able to steal it... I don't like this. Make the bad man go away, mum!

Meanwhile, hitting a new all-time low by committing a truly terrible sin - insulting Charlie Whiting... As several people put it, that was like a soccer player being given a yellow card by the ref, and the player reacts by punching the ref. Unacceptable. Sebastian Vettel, I am very, very disappointed in you. Angry at you, even. When this season is over, go very far away somewhere for a few weeks, reset. And. Get. Your. S***. Together.

Manufacturers: Mercedes 961, Ferrari 449, Renault 435, Honda 74.

Ferrari, Renault's coming to get you...

Well that was sad for Finns and Massa (and Haas).
But wet race is rarely boring. And Max certainly made this a good show.
Also note Nasr, finally getting Sauber points and pulling them ahead of Manor.
Ocon couldn't hold on to points, but did decent work to justify his place at Force India next season.

In other motorsport news, former F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen and his teammate Kohei Hirate have won Japanese Super GT (GT500) series!

Yeah, I almost shed a tear for Massa, so it'll be really be a end of an era once the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi is done. What a shame for Grosjean as he did a great job during qualifying in Brazil.

Verstappen definitely deserved to be Driver of the Day, and I think we have somebody special on the F1 grid now. He'll surely go far in the sport, probably once the likes of Hamilton and Rosberg retire.

A massive relief for Sauber, so Nasr finishing in the points should hopefully be enough for the Brazilian to stay with the team, but I wonder how they're going to do next year using this year's Ferrari engine.

It would've been great if both of the Manor drivers finished in the points, but Wehrlein clearly struggled. Even though I would've liked to see him drive for Force India, Ocon did a decent job in the race, so I can see why he was picked instead of Wehrlein.

I wonder where Gutierrez will go now he's being replaced at Haas next season by Magnussen. The only drives left to filled for 2017 are the two at Sauber and the one or two seats at Manor. I'm not sure whether Sauber would want to have him back, so if Manor doesn't give the Mexican one of their seats, either he goes back to do development work for Ferrari or go somewhere else in motorsport.

With final GP in Abu Dhabi to go, situation about winning the games is:

In Active Game rsmcc (Rosberg) is 12 points ahead of me (Ricciardo) and Morwen Oronor (Hamilton) is 2 points behind me.
Simelius is certain 4th, Codex89 5th, DuffDan 6th.

In Passive Game I (Bottas) and Codex89 (Wehrlein) are even, but with my lead due placings; Simelius (Hamilton) is 9 points behind - and thus likely winner.
DuffDan is certain 4th, Morwen Oronor practically 5th.

I have had various rules and types of games along the years, but there's one standard: official champion of year of my F1 Game is decided by awarding for each game points by F1 rules.
Practically this means most likely total winner is Simelius, basically unless something happens to Hamilton. In that case victory would almost certainly be mine. rsmcc, Codex89 and Morwen Oronor have extremely small theoretical chances to win.

Now let me explain something. The person known (for purposes of this game) as Simelius is... my mother.
We have half dozen forum players - half of whom actually know something about F1 - and my mother is about beat us all. And sadly, that's not first time in the history of this game.
