I caught the end of Craig's radio show on Saturday and he said there's going to be a request special on a few weeks time. Maybe we should request this? emoticon

Thing of note, Mexico's track has a part that goes through a baseball stadium. Eep.

Ah. I see. So it wasn't just a lack of adequate run-off, then... emoticon As if the original wasn't dangerous enough...

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when first driving the track on PS4. It took a couple of laps just to check that I wasn't "dotin' ", as we say in my neck of the woods - we really are driving through a stadium. Reminds me of the Race of Champions in that sense, they often build their circuit inside a stadium. It's also a nice gesture that in honour of the old final corner's most famous overtake they have named the new version of it after Nigel Mansell.

Yeah, the Peraltada turn (because it's part of the oval) has no run-off at all, which probably made the health and safety lot choke on their cornflakes when they heard Mexico was coming back. So they got Tilke in to neuter it.

Now, now. That's one of my berserk buttons. Leave health and safety alone, they're doing a bloody important job. It's penny pinching personal injury lawyers encouraging you to sue for a stubbed toe who you should be demonizing. Besides, the circuit wasn't neutered, as people so hatefully say these days. It was made a million times better. That stadium is far more exciting. Just imagine the roar it'll get one day when someone stuffs up an overtake and ends up in the wall right at the fans' feet. And those old whingers in rose-coloured testicles would rather we just see a bland, ugly, bumpy old crescent shape where precisely one overtake ever happened and had the potential to effing well kill you? Not my idea of fun.

EDIT: I had a longer rant here, but I don't want this to get ugly, so I'll leave it here.

I'm a bit nervous to, but I have to fight against rsmcc.

Health and safety make remake of Takeshi Castle in another country much harder and they don't do much.

I fought in the rsmcc battle. I'm a cool kid now.

It's not health and safely that makes new Takeshi's Castle harder to do - it's smaller budgets! Look at Wipeout. They used a lot of massive painful-looking stuff but just covered it in foam. That didn't make the (pre-Smackwall) obstacles any less entertaining.

Mexico didn't turn out the most exciting track, I'd say.
Still, the altitude may play tricks sometime.

Have you watched Formula E? Interesting format, developing fast (year-to-year, I mean). I hate the FanBoost - bloody reality TV - but besides that minor detail it's pretty fun racing. Depending on track, of course; Putrajaya wasn't as good as Beijing.
