Re: Christmas (Singing) Turkey

They're three things I can always be sure of: going to school, posting on this forum and rsmcc posting about some weird turkey every year.

Death is the other certainty. Except if you’re the turkey. That turkey will live on forever to freak out future generations.

Somehow, maybe because I'm not a social (media) animal, I didn't know and have only just discovered that Dustin's been on Twitter for 9 whole years. I'm in for some long reading. emoticon

And for this year, filling in the 'blanks' in this list:

Christmas in Dublin, the B-side to 32 Counties, from 1999. This was the last one I got on cassette. I'm old.

Accompanying 2001's Sweet Caroline, was Hey Santa.

The turkey's last album was in 2005. Singles, Patricia the Stripper, with Chris de Burgh:

And the Christmas song, True Christmas:

100% Completion! emoticon emoticon

Dan might not see this for a while, so I'll say it for him: That turkey should've been on someone's plate last month emoticon

Marking the big 3-0. This year's big project for the Turkey, Dustin was on stage in the Autumn (not on tour, sadly for me, it was a residency in one Dublin theatre) in The Comeback Vehicle. A musical written by Eoin Colfer, the author of the Artemis Fowl books. Dustin finds on a Who Do You Think You Are?-style programme that for all the years he's slagged off country folk - 'culchies' - he may have rural ancestry after all! Gasp! Hilarity ensues.
