Re: Art Attack

I actually dropped art after year 11 and did one of of music lessons. That was actually the only choice we had. An additional year of art or an additional year of music lessons. I took music lessons, because I too many people took art and he asked people to switch to music anyway. And I knew from other people that everyone who didn't take art got good marks at the end of the year.

Music lessons were boring though. Lots of history stuff, but no singing or playing intsruments. Just some rhythm stuff when we had to play the bongos and with some sticks.

I had to do another two years of physical and religious education. It was also my exam subject, because I thought it was easy, just lots of blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda. You just need to be able to talk a lot.

Anyway.. back to topic. Have I already told you that I met the German host the other day. We didn't really talk to each other except for a hi an bye. Was still weird to see him, he looked a bit younger.. he's nearly 40.

Re: Art Attack

We had quite a few choices for our GCSEs but I didn't really like any of them. Same with A Levels. I only ended up doing 2 A Levels because there were absolutely no others that I wanted to do. Wasn't going to art again!

No, you haven't said that you met him! How did that happen?

He did some work for the company that I work for. The child in me wanted to say something Art Attack related, but I'm a professional, so I didn't. Well, maybe I was just to shy to say anything..

The Mirror's done a feature on old kids' TV stars, which included Neil. They linked back to 12 months ago, when they had mocked a series of his paintings because he wouldn't do faces on the characters he drew in them. He then called them and explained he deliberately didn't draw portraits because he didn't want comparisons made to anything he did on Art Attack, so they could be judged on their own merits. Nice one.

I remember when he released the first series of painting he said that he deliberately didn't show the faces so that the characters in it could be yourself or people that you know when you/they were kids.

What is this it sounds foreign. I do not understand the giant crayons? Is it good? The set is lovely. They make art. It is a kids show probably. I will not watch it.

It was originally a U.K. show, but then got remade abroad. It's a kids show yeah, but the original is good enough to be watched as an adult.
