Re: Fort Boyard

They played 15 games (including 2 council and 3 cage games).

They stand in front of the "Dura Lex Sed Lex" door, but don't enter it. Host explains that they can win the missing key later, but it will cost them some time that they won't have in the treasure room.

They still use the adventure room, called "danger room". There are 5 adventures. The announcement is done in a different way, much slower than the original one.

Hosts announces tells each contestant, which game they have to play, then they show footage of the game.

They can get the final key by turning a crank, watch the episode later and you'll see.

They have four minutes in the finale and the tools to open the hints are inside the treasure room.

The code word is a word that you can put in front of any hints, so you don't need to find the common theme. (e.g. x man, x ball, x rain > Snow)

They are not allowed to use their shirts as baskets.

So if anyone wants to watch the German version: There'll be a repeat on TV. Message me and I'll give you a free plane ticket to Germany so you can watch it for free.. and it's totally legal.

The German version works, because the games work. You can't do much wrong with them. But it lacks something special, any interaction. The host tries to motivate people at times, but otherwise: it's just missing something, it lacks any personality. Like they just wanna have the games. Game after gaming. Not a good way of editing it.

Want to watch it, Messup?

They made quite a few changes for episode 2, it's definitely more watchable now. Different to the French version, actually. But would certainly watch more of it.

Rating for the first episode were rather awful though, not sure if it will increase this week.

Haven’t had the chance to watch the German version yet, but vert thankful for its mysterious appearance around these parts.

I got a riddle right the other week in a French episode. And the contestant didn’t. I was SO happy with myself emoticon

This is a show I always intend to watch, but never end-up doing it. I've probably seen like two episodes,
