Re: Run for Money
They took my account down
So i'll try and re-up soon. Until then, I found another Mari Run for Money Episode YAY. Also Yuko Mizuno from Kunoichi is in it! Love when things link.
Its in Forest Park apparently.
Part 1
Part 2
Mission 1:
Each player has 1 minute to choose another player to eliminate.
-Twist: Rather than being eliminated, that person becomes the betrayer. They can now ring the hunters telling them of the other players locations. For each person they contribute to getting eliminated, they get 50,000 yen for. We aren't told who it is at first but they still must avoid hunters themselves.
Mission 2:
At the 20 minute mark 6 hunters dotted around the map will be released into the game. To stop each hunter, they have to use a key that was hidden in their sleeve pocket and insert it into one of 2 keyholes on each hunter chair. One stops the hunter from being released, the other starts a 30 second countdown until release giving the player time to escape.
As a nice ending, the winner says they will share the money with everyone...except the betrayer!

Re: Run for Money
Only two missions? I was expecting a shorter episode, but it's an hour long. But, Mari makes up for only two missions.

Re: Run for Money
Only two as most of the game is spent trying to work out who the betrayer is. It was actually a nice twist but glad they only did it the once as it'd get boring if they overdid that one. More to come soon, just dont want to post too many in the fear of them getting taken down

Re: Run for Money
More Run for Money from me today, not the new episode since we still can't find that
But enjoy this episode featuring Yuko Nakazawa from Morning Musume and Hiromichi Sato from Viking and Sasuke:
University Campus:
Part 1
Part 2
Mission 1:
Retrieve Sunglasses that will make them invisible to Hunters for one minute. However they are placed in a wide open space.
Mission 2:
Take a photo with a member of the opposite sex.
Mission 3:
Find a computer inside the teaching buildings and answer a question correctly about their episode so far.
Mission 4:
Get out of the teaching buildings before the 20 minute mark passes. Anyone left inside is eliminated.
Hunter Add:
A helicopter will drop off a hunter into the game, before being a hunter-heli and telling the hunters where the players are.
Retire:
In order to quit the game and receive the money that the counter is on, they must hit a button. However doing so will release another hunter into the game, backstabbing the other players.

Re: Run for Money
Here's the first time Run for Money was played at Haustenbos (The european city/village in japan), the place that was in the Mari episode Dan started the topic with. Yes.
Run for Money 6 - Haustenbos:Here
Pre-Mission:
Before the hunters are released the players can deactivate as many as they can being released by pushing 2 buttons at the same time on the hunter boxes. 2 people are needed for each box due to the positioning of the buttons. They have until 70 minutes remain to do this.
Mission 1:
Items that could help avoid the hunters have been placed in red boxes around the playing area. Each one does something different.
Mission 2:
Inside each players shoes is a hidden chip that has monitored how far they have run. Everyone must have run at least 2.5km by the 40 minute mark. Anyone who hasn't run that far will have to leave their hiding place and run until they reach 2.5km.
Mission 3:
When 20 minutes remain, 100 hunters will be released into the area the players are in so they need to cross a bridge to escape to a new area. However to be allowed to cross they need to find a passport (a spikey ball) that the bystanders (foreigners) around the game area have. Each one only has one passport so it gets harder the later they leave it.
Mission 4:
Hunter-heli is added to the game. Also if a player is chased by a hunter, they can throw their "passport" at the hunter deactivating them. Each player can only use this ability once.
Retire:
In order to quit the game and receive the money that the counter is on, they must find a public telephone and call out of the game.

Re: Run for Money
I haven't seen them, but Mission 2 of the Haustenbos one is a brilliant idea. Gets rid of camping.
Also something I found:
Chronos
The show that became RFM. I think. There are different game types. This one's a 'defuse all the bombs' game. A bit like that part in Metal Gear Solid 2.

Re: Run for Money
Chronos is something that the makers of Run for money have made. It's about "time pressure games" and yeah there's quite a few. A few run for moneys have been made under Chronos.
Also some have been made for something called "Jump". While the chronos and jump competitions are counted as seperate to the main Run for Money series, they're still proper episodes.
Run for Money Wikipedia
17 official Run for Moneys.
Chronos Run for Money
4 of the Chronos episodes/competitions were Run for Money
Jump! Run for Money
5 of the Jump episodes/competitions were Run for Money.
I'll try and get a comprehensive guide for the episodes and which is which. Just don't want them to take the eps down as I love it and want it to stay online.
