The Wipeout Zone from the old-new course does NOT start with the Killer Surf. It starts with the Aqua Launch (which is a bit similar).

Watching Wimbledon today and it had to be done really - though not as easy as I thought to think of a tennis related course.

WIMBLEDON WIPEOUT

THE QUALIFIER
Ball Buoys - ball shaped buoys floating in the pool
Ball Wall - instead of the Sucker Punch imagine rather than boxing gloves, tennis balls were fired through it as contestants cross a narrow beam
Big Balls - decorated tennis ball style
Rolling Racket - imagine the rolling log shaped like a racket, so they start crossing the log and then have to cross a net (the racket strings) and reach the other side

STRAWBERRIES AND SWEEPER
The Sweeper is covered in cream and has a large strawberry hanging above it

DIZZY DUMMY
Tippy Tennis Court - the Tippy Tables, with a net in the middle

Now, I'm struggling with the second so was looking for a pun-based obstacle from a famous player. So we've got:

Mac and Row - they jump into a bowl of macarroni cheese and out the other side and then have to row to the finish line. (Definitely a case of think of the name, then the obstacle!)

WIPEOUT ZONE
I think the second version is easiest to adapt, so I'm going for that:
Aqua Launch - with ball explosion
Raging Rapids - with a torrent of balls, rather than the tidal wave
Crazy Sweeper - tennis balls on one end, a big W on the other
Tennis Turntables - each with a net in the middle they must climb over

I read that comment and then thought of the Teeter Totters- maybe instead of rope or something like that you could have the nets instead of the Tippy Tables?

Hi, welcome! Thanks for joining emoticon

Now we've seen the newer obstacles; as the second Wimbledon Dizzy Dummy obstacle it could be the Blue Balls - decorated as tennis balls. Simples, but good.

Yeah, true. I basically said the Teeter Totters because I'm English and they use them all the time on Washout.

Wipeout Bowl ll

Football Rafting: Jump onto the raft made to look like a football. Try and get enough momentum to make it through the mud and then through the second raft. All while some not so friendly footballers throw Nerf, paint-soaked footballs.

Sucker Punch: The Sucker Punch is here, but each fist has the image of a microphone on it for all the interviews. Instead of mud there is ketchup.

Big Balls: The balls are oval-shaped footballs and on the ramp on the Big Balls, a giant cup of soda will pour you off the platform if you try to stop in the middle of it.

Hurtles: Somebody throws a ball to you (like in Bridge Ball) and your job is to complete the obstacle with the football with you. If your football falls into the water, they brutally launch you off the beam and into the drink.

Soup-er Bowl: There are two sweeper arms dressed as carrots in the path of a zipline. You must make it past those and land in a bowl of messy soup to stop the clock.

Sweeper: You have a tray with a large cup of soda and a big burger on it. You can throw it at your partners if you wish. You do not have to hold the trays because there is a little bin attached to your podium to store it.

Slippery Course:

Slick Slide: Slide down a greasy slick slide and into the ketchup, mustard and footballs.

Branch in the Face: Same idea except there are a few football players nailing you with Nerf paint-soaked footballs and the beam is covered in hot dog mess.

course a: Slippery Football beam: Cross a one-foot-wide beam with a bit of grease on it, while trying to dodge giant footballs swinging on ropes (like Home Run on TC). There is a rest platform in the middle, but this is not a check point.

course b: Slippery Wall: You must cross this wall using hotdog chains and get across to the other side. While you are going, sprite is spurting out of small holes at the top of the wall.

Spinner: Same as usual and with bumpers.

Killer Surf: You start at the top of the ramp with a soft football. If you can keep the ball in your hands while going down this steep ramp bareback you either get 20 seconds off your time or $1,000 (your choice and you choose before you run)

Spin Cycle: The wheel is filled with footballs meant to trip you up, but don't let them.

Crazy Sweeper: Run across the path while dodging two arms with one containing footballs and the other with pom-poms.

Turntables: Jump across the three spinning tables to the finish while trying not to fall into the hole filled with footballs in the middle (you can get right back off, but it could cost you a bit of time) and while your 3 zone-opponants throw Nerf, paint-soaked footballs and popcorn.

You've probably just put more thought into that than Wipeout themselves did into the entire last season.

Never as boring and predictable as the show has been the last few years.

You've got that right!

Kids Episode

Balance Beam Ball: You have to cross a one-foot wide balance beam suspended over the mud while a couple of dodge-ball throwers throw dodge-balls at them. There is padding all over the beam in case of painful exits. (Sounds easy, but this episode is for kids 5-7 so yeah).

Merry-Go-Round: The classic kids ride turned evil! So there are 8 pillars rotating around one pillar that is standing in the middle and is not spinning. They could hop on to a rotating one, then the middle, then another rotating one or ride one all the way around the mud pit, or any other way they can.

Kid Balls: You start on the platform with a tunnel slide on it, go down the tunnel slide and onto the ball. There is a bridge stretched across all four balls so they can walk across it but the bridge wobbles a bit on the bouncy balls and the bridge ends a foot before the side of each ball so they might hit them.

Carnival Slide: Another fun kid thing. The kid goes down a giant slide and tries to not go too fast (or they will fall off the end) and not go too slow (or they will not qualify). So the aim is to land at the bottom and jump four feet to a platform at the same height as the bottom of the slide.

Child's Play: Not as easy as the name sounds though! They first start out on the platform before running across two lilypads (topple tower blocks from season 1 that are painted green) and then to a huge pit full of balls, next hop to a medium-sized pit of foam, then hop into a huge pit of foam blocks and jump to the finish that is 5 feet away.

Mini Sweeper: The 12 remaining kids are on balls like from the big Balls that are on a pole that is about one foot-high (so not as high at all as the regular sweeper) and the sweeper spins around at half the speed it does as usual. (So if the regular sweeper starts off by going 4 miles an hour, this starts off going 2. And if the regular sweeper increases to 20 this increases to 10). Last one standing wins $500 (and their parents should keep some of it, though I am a kid and I would not want my parents to keep some of my money, but yeah a 5-year old's parents should keep some of the money).

Dizzy Dummy: The dizzy spinner only goes at a quarter of it's regular speed. Then on the Spinner there is a TV frame on top with some paper taped to it that the kids have to break through (this is half-speed). Then for the water obstacles I would say mini Tippy Tables (a classic Dizzy Dummy obstacle) and the Lilypads (mentioned in the qualifier, but three rows of ten).

Killer Surf: The kids could probably handle this one! They slide down on an inflatable ring or an inflatable boat.

Block Hop: Like triple threat from the pilot but the squares are alphabet blocks.

Uphill Battle: The contestant must go up a very small inclined zipline and then land on a two-foot wide balance beam while squirted with water to complete the obstacle.

Jumping Rope: The kids have to hop a couple feet to grab onto a rope and do this three times. The ropes are dangled as if they were jumpropes of course.
