Interesting, quite like the idea of an Asian-inspired zone. Not sure medieval was the right zone to drop though - I would have dropped industrial like they did in the original but we'll see how it works out I guess.

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
Whoa, a new zone! We may have said it before, but I thought that an Arctic Zone would be the next logical step. East-Asia is interesting though, they're some interesting challenges they could do from that. Hoping there'll be a new human character as well, too.
On the original my least favorite zone was Futuristic and always thought that should've been replaced with with Ocean. But on the new version, it's either Industrial or Medeival I would replace - probably Industrial though. I guess they figured Industrial had a bit more milage than Medeival since it only had three seasons on the original as opposed to Sid for Medeival.

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
An Artic Zone was considered back in the day along with a Wild West Zone before they decided Ocean.
The Crystal Maze bloggers have been round this new zone and have given it the thumbs up, but can't say much about it atm

Re: Making of Crystal Maze
Cool! Although I notice that a lot of times on big blogs like that they'll give everything a positive review, since they're seen as official.
It's kind of like how ANWNation writes positively about every change made to the show, even though I doubt the author truly approves of everything they've done

Not all positive, members of the blog's Facebook group have given constructive criticism over the revival in areas (no links between the zones, contestants knowing each other, etc)

Re:
I'm going to guess that might be something I've long thought they should do - essentially a Crystal worth 10 seconds linked to games which are automatic lock ins.
