Re: Fort Boyard
Oh cool! I look forward to seeing how they've done it... If it happens to turn up somewhere somehow
Rouge coming into the Cage seems pointless - she doesn't even say a word!

Re: Fort Boyard
Yeah, it's strange that she doesn't say a word.. especially since they have her live on screen now (at least I think they do her announcements live). But I think it adds to her personality and I just find that it's a nice touch that she somehow cares for those kids.
Also, seen the trailer for the German version again. Both Passes appear in the trailer, I would assume that Passe-Muraille works for our Pere Fouras, too. You can only see him when the contestants do some chanting, otherwise it's just Passe-Partout.
I can also confirm that they'll use the elevator, because they included an airbag scene in the trailer.
The person in the Cage is not Mister Boo though, just somebody wearing a Mexican wrestler mask.
And "Lord Boyard":

Oh you know what the last picture grossed me out. I found it freaky to view o. I am annoyed due to such a rhetoric o. I hope i will forget the disturbing picture within 4 to 15 minutes maybe. I find it lovely.

Re: Fort Boyard
Seems like they really are remaking the French version part for part. It could be the most exact international version that there’s been. I’m intrigued to see how it plays out...

Re: Fort Boyard
German version just started. They haven't explained properly, just that they fight for keys in the first part and hints in the second part of the show.
They had some sort of pre-story. Lord Boyard entered the Fort on a stormy night. He had his treasure with him and came up with the games in order to protect his treasure.
Passe-Muraille is called Passe Temps for some reasons (at least that's what I heard, but I'm 89 years old.. I'm not good at hearing stuff).
They use the Franch graphics, but not for showing how many keys they have. They made their own graphics which look hideous.
The council game isn't played at the end, they played the first council game after the third key game. Lord Boyard appeared on the mirror, but he hasn't been in the council. The host was there along with the "shadow warriors" and each contestant played for a key.
What really bothers me: The host keeps reading the rules from the scrolls. So annoying. (Otherwise I like him, but that is just annoying... kinda like a speaker guy in the medieval age)

Re: Fort Boyard
They also play adventures as key games.. Surf and the Haunted Mansion were used as key games.
And the teaser before the ad break showed that it is indeed Mister and Lady Boo in the cage.
The show is fast moving, but I doubt that people that don't know that show will be able to follow that show. They show them collecting the keys, but what will they do with the keys?
It's something that Sat.1 is not really good at in general. They can't explain their shows properly. When they did House Rules from Australia, they've never told people that the main selling point is that people can decide how their rooms will look like. That was revealed half an hour after the show started.
Same with Fort Boyard, they play games and games and games, but nobody will know what happens when they lose a game. Or what will happen with the keys.

Re: Fort Boyard
Next to the Casino is a cage, I guess that will be a prison for the contestants that get locked in?
And I don't like their choice of music for some games.

Re: Fort Boyard
They use the tower on the German version, but don't call it Boyard Academy. The hosts goes to the tower with them and Passe-Muraille is there, too.
Passe-Partout doesn't show the number of keys with his fingers, but he holds the keys into the camera in a similar way.
Also, they place way more games than they do on the French show. First hour is done and they've already played 10 games or so.

Re: Fort Boyard
There is no Rouge. They just go to the cage which is called Verlies (Dungeon).
Lady Boo is called La Animal.
The guy from the photo that wears the mask is a new character. He was called Dynamite.
Then there is a second guy that looks like Mister Boo, but isn't boo. They call him Machine.
