Yeah, I was thinking the same. And a lot of the views come from Americans on Sasuke Maniac emoticon

Seems like a good concept that needs to get some dans to succeed.

The ladder that tips is insensitive. I like the ladder that tilts on American Ninja Warrior. I find it obvious. Someone fell off the ladder on American Ninja Warrior maybe. I do recall you falling off of the tipping ladder at the ninja gym. I think Canes726 should come. She should return. she is a small post two to three years ago. She has no user picture o. Her account is novel o.

I actually think it looks a bit dangerous but moreso epic. Looks like a cool obstacle.

They've released some course design videos. Looks like a 12-obstacle course that starts with the Twisting Road then goes to the Floating Boards rehash. Hopefully they're other courses too.

The date is coming up and I know one person who's actually going on it.

How are they actually going to air this? Is it all going to be on YouTube?

Hopefully on TV but maybe not emoticon

I don't like that they're giving the whole course lineup away before it's even aired. And it all looks to be one 12-obstacle course emoticon

Re: KuroOvi - A Search for the Ultimate Hero

Yep it's on YouTube. It appears I posted a link to the video in the Taskmaster thread, and not in this one, accidentally so as always I wasn't as helpful as intended emoticon emoticon

It was a livestream that I took part in, but now they've eliminated that video for some reqason emoticon I will link to future streams as they're made though, but it might not be the best time for you as it'd be 3am your time (unless they'll air it at different times) emoticon

Okay, here's what I thought!:

I thought the show was amazing and can't wait to take part again. The livestream is great and the course doesn't have too many things (really just the props and the sliding rope) that need to be reset so the breaks between runs are pretty short emoticon I really just loved taking part in the livestream as I haven't done that since the early days of TCT emoticon

I thought most of it was good. I liked pretty much all of the obstacles except that I wasn't too sure hanging a rope-ladder for The Wall was the best idea. It may have been necessary, but they already added a springboard since last time so why simplify it so much. I liked that in testing they had the people trying to jump and kick their way up the walls, because that gave you more options and was more entertaining. Maybe take away the water pit beneath the walls and just let the competitors run up them three times, that'd seem fine.

My other gripe was having three almost identical obstacles with the Curved Road, Spike Road and Warped Road (or whatever that was called emoticon). Still, at least they each had a couple of different elements and there's always time for changes and modifications to be made emoticon

To the positives, the other road obstacle, Screw Road, is pretty cool. I like that they run down a long slanted track, dodging cones as they go. That's something we haven't seen before and what I'd really love to see is someone using the tool and biking down it emoticon Also nice to see a nod to Viking with Brain Panic. It took out Isaac Caldiero the first time (until he just took a rerun the next day emoticon). I felt bad, but it was kinda hilarious when the woman hit the answer button first thinking she had to hit it to get the question and her expression when it showed she was wrong and they dropped her emoticon Surprisingly tough obstacle there! The Sandbag Hill wasn't the most exciting watch, but still a smart obstacle!

The Metrorail is great and I still love that you pick your path through it. Notice that with this shape of course they don't go out of the side of the train anymore, but the front which feels more even emoticon People avoided the rings for the most part though. I'm sure having to remember the five-digit number while working their way through the train would make it hard for some to remember, so nice planning there emoticon

The Rail Track was awesome! Love the tilting ladder and very impressed with the guy that jumped off of it as it was tipping emoticon Felt bad for the next one whose risk didn't pay off! I wonder if anyone will be able to somehow jump to the higher, padded platform if they're quick enough? Probably not, but it would be awesome!

I liked the Board Ladder but I don't think the ladder tool was a good idea to put there. It was too easy and whatever the commentator was saying about the walkway being difficult to balance on, didn't really seem true. Using the ladder may have been the slower choice, but speed doesn't matter much on this course anyway emoticon

The Fallen Ladder Bridge (name aside emoticon ) was a simple, straight obstacle which is a bit refreshing. I do still have a bit of PTSD with rail-walking though emoticon

Overall, I thought the tools were good, but maybe some made things a bit too simple. The raft on the first obstacle was tricky enough to get on and off but the ladder with the Board Ladder made the obstacle a gimme. THe calculator on Brain Panic was amusing the first time but kind of defeats the purpose and will eventually get stale, once everyone brings one to the course. As said earlier, I can't wait for someone to bike down the Screw Road!

I thought it was a good show though; the announcer was pretty good and it was very fun to watch live. It's also pretty well-done and edited for something that's live! I'm not a fan of people getting reruns to qualify, but in that sense and with the fact that it's live it feels a bit like the Wolfpack Ninja Tour qualifying to me emoticon That'll only be me thinking that since I'm the only one here who competed, but still emoticon

It was on YouTube last night after it streamed, but now it's been deleted :/.

Could be one in two minutes because I think last night was just the beginning?.. emoticon
