Re: Ultimate Beastmaster - Filmed on Abandoned Wipeout Set
Casting for season three with nine countries this time.
I know the countries that are competing so I'll say them. Japan hasn't been invited backx possibly because none of them won an episode. So, knowing which ones weren't invited back from season 2 could be a potential spoiler so be warned:
US, UK, Australia, South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy
So now you Brits better try-out . Can't believe they haven't added Canada though as it seems like a big one!
So wether they'll keep it with teams of 18 and change the amount of competitors to 162 with a slight alteration to the format or simply change it to 12 players on each team remains to be seen. Probably won't know for awhile as we still don't have pictures of season 2 - or any news at all.

Re: Ultimate Beastmaster - Filmed on Abandoned Wipeout Set
Hopefully they'll vary season three some more. I've still not bothered watching any other episodes seeing as they'll all pretty much be the same as the first one.

Re: Ultimate Beastmaster - Filmed on Abandoned Wipeout Set
I gave up on the first series. Way too samey, which is a shame. It could have, and should have, been really good.

Re: Ultimate Beastmaster - Filmed on Abandoned Wipeout Set
There's speculation on Sasuke Maniac that they've had to re-edit the second season due to criticism recieved on the first one. It's crazy to me that people seem to have complained about the format when variety is all it needs.
Anyway, if the course is changed for the most-part, I'll still happily watch it (as you'd guess!)..

Interested to see how they can edit it differently.

Re: Ultimate Beastmaster - Filmed on Abandoned Wipeout Set
I personally had a few problems with how it was cut together and presented. I wanted to see a bit more of the leaderboard, scores to beat etc. Quite often whilst someone was doing a run I had no idea what score they had to reach to qualify or how far they needed to reach.

I do remember there seemed to be quite a bit of jumping around and showing people starting at different points of the course.

Re: Ultimate Beastmaster - Filmed on Abandoned Wipeout Set
Yeah they did although I didn't mind that (similar to Wipeout).
What I disliked was them pretending they didn't use the opening obstacles when no one failed on them, and not showing the actual first Level 2 obstacle at all.
